Dr. Mohamad Albik graduated from the Aleppo School of Dental Medicine with the highest honors in his class for oral surgery & mouth disease treatment. He went on to study at Tufts University, completed his education at the University of Houston & attended dental implant training at Loma Linda University in 2012. In 2015, he was made an Associate Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry & was named a diplomate for both the International Academy of Dental Implants in San Diego & the American Board of Implantology. He loves interacting with his patients & creating lasting relationships with the families he treats. Dr. Albik is always seeking ways to give back. He volunteers with the International Academy of Dental Implantologys Share to Care Smile Program, which allows him to travel to Mexico to help victims of violence restore their smiles. When Dr. Albik is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife & three adorable children. He also loves hiking, biking & cooling off on a raft during the summer or skiing in the winter.
Dr. Rika earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2015 from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in New York, where she graduated with honors in clinical dentistry. Dr. Rika advanced her dental training by doing a one-year General Practice Residency at Columbia University/Harlem Hospital. There she did training in emergency dental medicine, periodontal surgeries, root canals & oral surgery, including managing head & neck traumatic injuries. In December 2020, Dr. Rika completed the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship, a distinction requiring 500 hours of education courses & that only 7% of general dentists have achieved. Shes the 2021 president of the Academy of General Dentistry & is an active member of the California American Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society & Seattle Study Club.She believes that constant education leads to better patient treatment outcomes & management. Dr. Rika works closely with each patient to tailor treatment for them, giving high regard to a patients specific needs & requests. One of the most important factors to Dr. Rika is establishing an open line of communication & trust with the patient. In her free time, shes chasing around her growing toddler. She & her husband enjoy creating new memories & traditions with their son.

I would like to give a sincere Thank you to Laguna Springs Dental entire staff. This was one of the best Dental experiences I ever had. The friendliness and professionalism was beyond 5 stars. Everyone was attentive and caring, and you certainly need that when you have Dental work done, especially when you have emergency oral surgery. I was able to see the Surgeon the same day, and they took great care of me. God bless them all.

So far, my experience with Laguna Springs Dental has been really good. Blazel (sp??) is an absolutely wonderful hygienist. She's always concerned with my comfort level. I had a deep cleaning and Blazel had to numb the area and it was virtually painless! Usually after having dental work done and being numbed, I get blisters in my mouth from the shots, but no blisters this time!

I've been a patient since they opened. Prior to Dr. Mustafa leaving, they always provided fantastic service (I originally had 5 stars) from the front office to the chair. The past couple of years have been different with Dr. Albik. The wait times for appointments have significantly increased that client/doctor relationship doesn't feel as genuine. I was not happy with my Invisalign treatment and ended service due to the treatment plan being unsuccessful. I think the level of Invisalign used was not going to work with my teeth. I had multiple refinements with little success. The hygienists are great and so is the front desk staff.

I've been a patient since they opened. Prior to Dr. Mustafa leaving, they always provided fantastic service from the front office to the chair. The past couple of years have been different. I still loved my dental tech and Invisalign tech but am beyond disappointed with Dr. Albik. Always dismissive and his bed-side manners are appalling. He never tried to build rapport and instead lacks any type of personality other than rude. After abruptly venting his frustration with me due to Invisalign, he blurted out that Dr. Mustafa was dead and he wasn't there when I started my treatment. All I can say is wow! Fortunately they removed the attachment points and refunded me for the treatment. I'll no longer be recommending people I know go to Laguna Springs.

I've never had a tooth pulled out and tooth implant before. It took me a while to decide this was the procedure I want to get done. After getting second opinion, I know I must get it done before the tooth causes further issues. The staff and doctor were amazing. I couldn't believe how fast my procedure was done. It was seamless! I also appreciated that I was given options on payment since my implant wasn't covered by insurance. Thank you so much!!!

This was my first visit, and I was switching from another dentist, so as always there is concern about going to a new doctor, but the staff at Laguna Springs Dental quickly put all those concerns to rest. They were all extremely friendly and truly concerned about my comfort at all steps of the process. The facilities are very modern with modern equipment and procedures. I feel like I will be coming back for many years to come. Update: I have in fact been back many times and even recommended the rest of my family to come to Laguna Springs Dental. They continue to impress, make me feel like a valued customer, and genuinely care about my health. They are definitely the best dentists in Elk Grove.

This is the best dental clinic in the world. Super nice staff, professional hygienist and wonderful doctor. Heidi is a best dental hygienist that one can ask for. Very professional, knows what she's doing, very gentle with the jaws. Ohh I would never go to any other dentist office.

Amazing service. I was given a close appointment to help my urgent situation. The office people were very helpful and welcoming. The dental assistant was respectful and knowledgeable. The most importantly, Dr. Nour was caring, smart with exceptional experience to save my tooth. I had little hope to save my tooth but she made it true by her unique solution to my broken tooth. I definitely appreciate the friendly atmosphere of the whole clinic staff.

After change of ownership this dental surgery has gone downhill. The front desk staff has also changed. It's no longer patient care but how many patients they can see in parallel. Wait time are crazy! They say it's because of COVID. More like milk the system and pay my loan off. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud and his team were awesome. I believe there is only one hygienists left from the old team.

Best possible experience at the dentist. Most thorough dental exam I have ever had. Dr. Nour (I think) reviewed xrays in detail, explained issues and answered all my questions. Glazel was so professional, personable and knowledgeable and did a deep cleaning without causing me any extra pain. Didnt have insurance but cost was explained beforehand. They are busy, for good reason, so be patient. Definitely going back

The assistant that took me back was wonderful! Very gentle. As far as my appointment today for a new pt. I took all my x-rays and was informed what I needed with no teeth cleaning.( which I was specific I wanted for Insurance)I feel my time was wasted on events that could've been done over the phone for future appointments. Definitely over booked because before my x-rays were done the next pt. was waiting
