Dr. Adams is a Sacramento native. He grew up in Carmichael and graduated from El Camino High School. He received a wrestling scholarship to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and was a staff member of the Ski Club. He then earned his doctorate, specialty certificate, and Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of California, San Francisco. While at UCSF, Dr. Adams received many awards, including the Delta Dental Leadership award and the Gardner Award for outstanding achievements in scholarship, leadership, and community service. In addition to practicing orthodontics, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF, teaching in the orthodontic residency program and the pre-doctoral program for dental students. Dr. Adams has also published and presented research for various dental associations and professional journals. He maintains his commitment to community service as an active participant in the Smiles for Kids program, where he has also been awarded the Hamilton Award for outstanding service, and by providing oral health screenings for Sacramento area schools.
Dr. Adams is an active member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists. He has been a member of the SDDS since 2001 and has participated in the following committees:
Dr. Adams also finds time to be a loving and caring father of two children and a husband to his loving wife, Eva. Ethan joined them on September 22, 2001 and two years later they welcomed Maya, who was born on May 1, 2004. Dr. Adams is an avid gardener, enjoys biking and skiing, and has participated in triathlons. But most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our treatment team and office staff have years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care, and we strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars given by the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Gaebrielle began her career in dentistry more than 20 years ago and proudly joined Dr. Adams, and his fantastic team, in 2011. She is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Gaebrielle has an amazing family whose many hobbies and interests keep her jumping from one activity to the next. She volunteers for several charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and UC Davis Childrens Miracle Network. In her free time she enjoys her family and friends, baking, and being outdoors.
Gail has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She joined our practice in July of 2006. Gails family includes her husband Gilbert, three children, and two pups: Pearl and Jay-jay. She enjoys spending time with her family and walking her pups. I was blessed to find Dr. Adams and his team, having come from the Bay Area. They have made me feel right at home!
Elaine joined our team in December 2003, and has been in the dental field since August 1991. She is a mother of two, Martin and Madeline. Working here at Laguna Orthodontics has been a wonderful experience for me and I look forward to many more years here. I think we have the best patients. Elaine enjoys spending time with her extended family, traveling, working out at the gym and eating good food. She helps her community by volunteering for Smiles for Kids.
Rita has been in the dental field since 2004. She became a part of Dr. Adams team in October of 2007. She was born and raised in San Jose and moved to Elk Grove in the winter of 2005. Working with Dr. Adams and the team has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Everyone in the office is so friendly, and they make me feel like I am a part of the family! Rita enjoys baking, decorating, and spending time with her family in San Jose.

The assistants at Laguna orthodontics were super welcoming and helpful. They listened to my concerns; however, Dr. Adams did not make me feel like an important patient to him. He barely spent time to really discuss my concerns and never solved an issue for/with me. If I had known how little he cared about his patients, I wouldn't have chosen this place to get my braces. The last time I saw him, I waited 30+ minutes but when he came to me, he spent about 5 minutes with me and that is even generous bc I'm pretty sure it was less. I've had issues with my retainer for months now and the issue is even bigger bc he couldn't fix it the first time. I was told the office was going to call me back to fix my retainers, but was never called back. Disappointed that I wasted my money and time on this place. Don't go here.

Went to Dr. Adam for a second opinion about getting jaw surgery because the first orthodontist I went to recommended jaw surgery. I wasn't fond of the idea and seeked help from Dr. Adam and he told me there's no need for jaw surgery. I was really happy and decided to start my ortho treatment with Dr. Adam as for I was very comfortable with the plan he had for me. And Carson was a big help for telling me tips about my trays! Super happy that I've made the decision to do treatment with this amazing team!

Amazing Team! Once you enter the office, all the ladies were very welcoming. The Hi and hugs we've received, thanks Gaebrielle and Elaine. Beautiful waiting room as well. They have complementary coffee and water bottles for you. Thank you Dr. Adams for your in depth detailed discussions with our kids orthodontic needs. Although our daughter decided to wait, our son will be proceeding, he is so excited! I know our family is in good hands.
