Kurtis Reitz, D.D.S provides general and cosmetic family dentistry utilizing the most advanced techniques to provide world class dental care to all of his patients. There have been great advances in dental care in recent years and Dr. Reitz loves to show patients how comfortable and exciting the dentistry of today can be.
Dr. Reitz received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from The University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma. He earned his dental degree from University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Reitz grew up in the Midwest but fell in love with Southern California. Dr. Reitz chose to establish his practice in Laguna Beach and serve patients from all of Orange County and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Reitz has a passion for knowledge and stays current with the latest techniques, averaging around fifty continuing education units a year. He has completed numerous courses in laser dentistry, endodontic therapy, implant dentistry, oral facial pain, and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society. He was awarded a fellowship with theAcademy of General Dentistry in 2020 and will pursue his AGD Mastership!
Dr. Reitz met his wife Dr. Tiffany Wang in dental school and they currently reside in Lake Forest with their two cats (Meeko and Zelda). Both Tiffany and Kurtis are passionate about traveling and landscape photography. Their most recent trip was visiting Iceland and the Faroe Islands. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the many US national parks. He is also an avid car enthusiast and automotive photographer.

Everyone in this office is outstanding. Dr Writz is an excellent dentist. Cindy in the front office always makes my day and finally Anthony, the hygienist, was an unbelievably addition to the office. He's knowledge, personable and is very good at his job. It's the first time I don't dread going to the dentist

I have been going to this dental office for almost a decade and they are the best I've ever been to! I have had to get a couple fillings done at other offices that take my insurance but I always come back here when I don't feel comfortable anywhere else. Dr Reitz always makes me feel comfortable when he is doing work! He is attentive, let's me ask plenty of questions, and is very personable. Even though I find it really scary to get work done, I am always confident in his abilities and know he is capable of even the trickiest jobs. Cindy is the front desk receptionist and is always so sweet! All of the other dental hygienists in the office are sweet, attentive, and great at their jobs. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Reitz is an amazing dentist. I had issues with my upper front teeth due to wearing down. I was seeing a difference from my smile 20 years ago. I researched several cosmetic dentists for answers, from Newport to Laguna. I am so glad I found Dr Reitz. He recommended veneers, 6 upper teeth. I wanted a natural but improved smile. He reviewed old pictures, listened and was so patient. I am so happy, my smile came out perfect. I can't recommend him enough! He is a true artist.

Dr. Reitz is an ARTIST! Amazing attention to detail. Buy he also cares about his patients. In addition to a great chair-side manner, he often calls after a visit to check on me. I've never had that type of treatment before!! And Cindy at the front desk is awesome. Kind and knowledgable. I give this team an unconditional 6-star rating. Absolutely top notch in all aspects. I recommend practice to everyone.

Great office staff! Very nice, clean, and professional. No hard sales tactics just good solid dentistry. Have been going for years, a couple years ago I had a crown replaced, Dr. Reitz did a very good job, is extremely gentle and considerate. I've since moved to a different city but still keep going to this dentist.

Just finished extensive dental work 11 crowns including 3 implants. I have had dental issues since I was 12. Dr. Kurtis Reitz took all my anxiety away. I felt welcomed and cared for with so much attention. He explained in detail what he was doing every step of the way. No surprises. His patience is amazing. His concern for my comfort was his number one priority. I never felt rushed. I was able to reach out to him at any time. He responded to every need I had. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Feel confident with every service this practice offers. You will be more than satisfied and have a happy smile walking out.

I just had an appointment at the doctors office and I usually do have anxiety attacks and I get very very nervous every time I have dental appointment. Fortunately my appointment went so smoothly so it made me so comfortable to deal with the situation. My fear apparently maybe sometimes in the past I had a bad experience with another dentist but as I said , Dr Reitz explained every step we went through one by one and by doing so the fact you know what you are going to go through or what the next step is it makes you very very comfortable and on top of all of that they have a massage chair, it will really distract your brain from any kind of fear or negative thoughts so it's so helpful that it would help you to deal with your fears or in my case anxiety anywaysI I thanked him for making it so easy for me.

Dr. Reitz & staff are beyond great! They are a fine friendly professional dental team. I was able to get an immediate appointment for my urgent dental problem. Dr Reitz was so gentle & kind. Dr Reitz is calm and encouraging. He also called me in the early evening to make sure I was doing ok. The whole office does a good job. Anthony cleans my teeth well and Cindy in the front office is always helpful and nice.

When I relocated to Southern CA a few years ago, I had some trouble finding a good dentist. I tried a few but just wasn't happy with them. Then I found Dr Reitz. First of all, he's a very nice guy but more importantly, he knows his stuff. I've had dental work done by different dentists (just what happens when you've lived in a lot of different places) and the work done by Dr Reitz has been excellent. He repaired a small chip in my tooth and the work has been flawless. I highly recommend this practice for their caring service and excellent work.

Dr. Reitz is an amazing clinician. He will take all the time needed to answer questions and put your fears to rest. Also, plays the best music, which is relaxing. Anthony, does a thorough cleaning and takes time to educate on ways to improve hygiene at home. I can't say enough about Cindy....she is absolutely the best and never hesitates to go the extra mile and has done so for the many we have been going to this office!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Reitz and his whole staff at Laguna Beach Dental Arts. Everyone there is super friendly and is amazing at their job. Dr. Reitz explains everything step by step as he is doing his work and always explains the treatment options before going forward. My dental situation was a mess before going here and he fixed everything better than i could have hoped for. Cindy at the front desk is one of the nicest people and is always willing to accommodate your schedule. I would highly recommend Laguna Beach Dental Arts for anyone looking for a new dentist.
