Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Waited 20+ minutes in dentist chair waiting for dentist. After my evaluation I was given how much the cost would be for services that I need. Extra charges where added to the bill for the services that I need. These extra add-ons where things that I don't need and don't want. And of course it's not covered under insurance. And these charges were not explained. Very unprofessional very misleading. I will not be going back to this office.

Surprisingly very affordable compared to other places in this area. This appointment was quick and painless and no way near as bad as I expected.

Dr Jerin Joseph, his assistant, and receptionist were all courteous, professional, and efficient. At my first appointment, x-rays and check-up were done well, and all future treatment recommendations were clearly explained and documented. However, after reviewing their recommendations, I have a very clear impression that their first concern is their profits and the patient's health is secondary.

I'm 52 yrs old and have always had excellent dental exams and cleanings. After moving to Lady Lake I went here. They want to do x rays every 6 months. I do not want that as I am exposed to radiation with my job and I also think yearly is acceptable. They threatened I wouldn't be allowed to be a patient, which I was glad to leave but then still allowed me to stay. The Dr came in before the cleaning (which is odd as all my years of cleanings the dr usually comes in after the cleaning. Anyways he talked to me about the X-ray's which I would not waiver my decision on that. He then jabbed a tiny metal instrument into my gums. It hurt terribly and I bled profusely. He was saying numbers like 6 and 5 and so on. He told me that I had gum disease and needed to return for treatments of laser and so forth costing almost $600.I asked if I could get the general cleaning that day and I would see about the other procedure. They wouldn't do even the general cleaning! I asked why he pushed so hard into my gums as they were bleeding and hurt. He said it was the gum disease. I said if I took a spoon and pushed into the gum line it would eventually bleed and hurt. I will never step foot into this place again! They are a scam. Don't go here unless you want needless procedures and needless x rays.

UPDATE - STAY AWAY - SCAMMERS - CHEATS They even create fake accounts to give themselves good reviews because their customer reviews are terrible. BILLING SCAM I just received a fictitious invoice for services rendered 10 months ago. I wasn't even a patient at the time! Avoid this dental office at all cost. I had a very bad experience related to Denture Process (extractions and implants). Changed dentist long ago and now this!!! UGH Just awful

Lady lake dentistry is a SHAM, HOAKS, CHEATS, FRAUD! I CANT GIVE A 0 OR I WOULD. I have been going there for over 2 years.. Every time I go back for a checkup it's always up charging me and my wife to do dental work that's not needed. I have been to other dentist to verify what they have told me is wrong...no conformation is found. Yesterday was the last straw. I went in for my 6 months checkup, cover by my health care provider. The examined my teeth and took a few X Rays. The dentist probed my mouth and said I needed deep cleaning. Also before reviewing the X Rays taken, she determined that I needed a root canal and crown. Now how can you do this without looking at the X Ray of that tooth. I have NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT WITH THAT TOOTH. THEY GAVE ME A PRICE FOR THE DEEP CLEAN AND CROWN. $5500.00! To top it off they wouldn't clean my teeth under the insurance policy, which is FREE! They said I needed a deep clean and insurance doesn't cover it. I told them they were charging me for thing that need not be done. They would not budge from there position. So I went to another dentist and the said none of the work they recommended needed to be done!!! FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST OR YOU WILL BE CHEATED OUT OF YOU HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

Staff were nice, however I felt as if they would up sale me often with cost well above insurance, and then I denied their up sale recommendations and they refused to give me a standard cleaning, since I refused their plan. Got up and left. I have been going to dentist every 6 months as an adult, never had these issues. Wanted to charge extra for a Cancer screening, has always been included. Very irritated, had to leave, no cleaning, now I have to find a new dentist.

I do NOT recommend this dental practice whatsoever! I contacted them precisely asking for an appt with a periodontist. When I got there I was seen by a general dentist, given an hour's worth of x-rays, even though I had just seen my local general dentist, and then told that their perio only comes in once a month. Unheard of! I was shocked since I was told when I made my appt that I was seeing the perio. They required that I give them $150 deposit to hold the perio appointment needed for a root canal for a tooth abscess. During the visit he never did discuss my receding gums. I guess because he is NOT a periodontist. He said I had an abscess and needed a root canal. But I had to wait days for his perio to be in that office. I think she was from Tampa. I took the appointment because I was in a bind and in discomfort. Something didn't sit right in my gut. I went back to my general dentist and I explained the entire situation, the $150 deposit, waiting for a perio and not seeing her right away, seeing a general dentist and getting tons of x-rays again and she told me to run, don't walk away. The office manager tried to tell me that if I cancelled my root canal appt that I would NOT be able to get my $150 deposit back. NO WAY. I insisted and of course I got a credit card refund. STAY AWAY from this practice.

I was told that I needed a periodontal cleaning, which was completely out of the ordinary. I decided to have a second and third evaluation, both saying that evaluation was incorrect and a regular cleaning was all I needed. It's very disappointing that they tried to force me to have an expensive and unnecessary procedure.

I went into the office for an exam. They had very sophisticated x-ray machines. Showed me that I needed a deep cleaning very badly or I Would lose my teeth. So I made an appointment the next day for a deep cleaning. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. What I received was a regular cleaning. And they tried to charge me $500. When I objected the office manager tried to put a guilt trip on me. Like I was trying to get something for nothing. I told her I would pay for a regular cleaning because that's all I received. So they reluctantly excepted my payment for a regular cleaning. Later I was billed an extra $430. I called the office manager and she never returned my calls. And two weeks later I received a bill from the credit agency for the remaining balance. There's no way I'm gonna pay $500 for a regular cleaning. And it is still in my credit report now. After many attempts to have it removed. To me they're taking advantage of old people and Ripping them off.I've been having my teeth cleaned regularly all my life. And I assure you all I got was a regular teeth cleaning.

I have been to MULTIPLE dentists in Central florida and this place is hands down the best !! Their technology combined wih their compassion is unbeatable. They have plans that make your work affordable and everything they have done for me ( fillings , crown, cleaning) has been excellent work. They even managed to clean up the mess from my previous dentist and save my molar !! The more I learn about this practice the happier I am that I found them. Thank you for helping me take care of my teeth without feeling ashamed or scared. Thank you too for giving back not only to our local community but to those in need of the simplest things like clean water where it is not easily available.Highly recommend

As a new client I was talked into deep cleaning after X-ray at Lady Lake Smiles on my first visit after moving to TV. I was told that I now have to have a special deep cleaning at a cost of $95 to me due to no insurance coverage for this procedure! Even though my insurance covers cleaning 2x/yr and X-ray at no charge to me. Mind you I have never had periodontal issues in CT were I had regular cleanings 2x a year. X-ray & Dr. Checks. But all of the sudden developed this on my first visit in TV? Yah.. don't think so. Needless to say I canceled my appointment and will be contacting my insurance carrier to make them aware and the state Dental licensing board. This is fraud and misrepresentation.
