Dr. Bryan Schmidt joined our Ladd Dental Group family back in 2019, and he has been such a wonderful addition to our Wabash team. Dr. Schmidt graduated from Southwood Jr/Sr High School and was raised in right here in Wabash! Dr. Schmidt attended undergrad at Purdue University where he graduated with a General Health Science Degree. From there, Dr. Schmidt went on to IUPUI to receive his Masters in Biology and later to Indiana University's School of Dentistry were he received his DDS diploma! Dr. Schmidt recently graduated and is excited to start his career back where it all began. He is thrilled to be able to serve the community in which he grew up, and is looking forward to the opportunity of treating you and your family!

Sami is our outstanding dental hygienist in Wabash. Sami was born and raised in Nappanee Indiana, and we are so grateful that she joined our Wabash dental family! Sami graduated from Ivy Tech South Bend's hygiene school, and she picked the perfect trade for her given skill set! She has a three year old daughter, and absolutely loves being in the dental field. Brooke is one of exceptional and experienced dental assistants in Wabash, and has been part of our LADD family for over three years! Brooke grew up in Wabash County and still lives in the community today. She graduated in 2008 from Northfield JR/SR High School, and then went on to graduate from IPFW in 2011 with a General Studies Degree, as well as a Certificate for Expanded Function Dental Assisting. Her favorite thing about dentistry is bonding with her patients, and being able to educate them on their dental care. 'I am a small town girl who really enjoys helping my community I grew up in.'
Morgan is one of our hard working and passionate dental assistants in Wabash. She grew up in Miami county, and still currently live there. She graduated in 2016 from Peru High School, and she then went on to graduate from Ross Medical Education Center in 2017 from their dental assisting program. Morgan just recently joined our dental family, and she has been such a wonderful addition to our team! Morgan brings with her a ton of skill and expertise in the terms of dental and hygiene assisting! She loves being involved in the dental field because she loves watching people find their confidence through their smile!
Kirsten is one of our hard working treatment coordinators at our LADD Dental Group of Wabash practice. Kirsten has been part of our LADD Dental family for almost 2 years, and we are so grateful to have her on our dental team! She has been married to her husband for 7 years and they have two beautiful little girls that are 6 and 4. They like to do things together as a family, including swimming, hiking, fishing, and basically anything they can do outdoors.
Haleigh is one of our super friendly treatment coordinators that you will mee when you walk into our beautiful dental practice. She grew up in Kosciusko county, and she currently is living in Wabash. Haleigh graduated from Warsaw community high school in 2015. Her favorite aspect of being apart of the dental industry is seeing patients who think they have run out of options, get the help and treatment they need and the smile they deserve.

Dr. Ankit Patel received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Biology and went on to receive his masters in Biology as well there. Dr. Patel then went on to graduate with a DMD degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. Ultimately, Dr. Patel went on to graduate from West Virginia University School of Dentistry's Prosthodontics Residency Program in 2014. He moved to Indianapolis about two years ago and really likes living back in his home state. We are thrilled to have Dr. Patel's specialty skill set within our dental group, and we are grateful to be able to offer our patients the highest standard of comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Conkin received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he began a career in the United States Navy and completed a general practice residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He practiced as a general dentist for the next two years, serving with and caring for Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He deployed to Iraq with the Marines in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Conkin completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the National Capitol Consortium (National Naval Medical Center/ Walter Reed Army Medical Center) in Bethesda, Maryland/ Washington DC. While in residency, he was privileged to care for our sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines injured during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. He rotated at multiple hospitals including the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Washington Hospital Center, and the aforementioned training hospitals. This allowed Dr. Conkin to operate with many world experts on various aspects of oral surgery, head and neck pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, and facial cosmetic surgery and utilize this knowledge in all aspects of his surgical practice today.
