Alexcia is our remarkable dental hygienist in Greentown! Lexci attended Indiana University Kokomo and received her bachelor of science degree from Indiana Purdue University Fort Wayne. At, IPFW, Lexci received the Golden Toothbrush, which is given to the best overall hygiene student in the class. Lexcia prides herself on giving her patients a reason to smile, and has a true passion for dental health! Dr. Ankit Patel received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Biology and went on to receive his masters in Biology as well there. Dr. Patel then went on to graduate with a DMD degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. Ultimately, Dr. Patel went on to graduate from West Virginia University School of Dentistry's Prosthodontics Residency Program in 2014. He moved to Indianapolis about two years ago and really likes living back in his home state. We are thrilled to have Dr. Patel's specialty skill set within our dental group, and we are grateful to be able to offer our patients the highest standard of comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Conkin received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Memphis, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he began a career in the United States Navy and completed a general practice residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He practiced as a general dentist for the next two years, serving with and caring for Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He deployed to Iraq with the Marines in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Conkin completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the National Capitol Consortium (National Naval Medical Center/ Walter Reed Army Medical Center) in Bethesda, Maryland/ Washington DC. While in residency, he was privileged to care for our sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines injured during combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. He rotated at multiple hospitals including the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Washington Hospital Center, and the aforementioned training hospitals. This allowed Dr. Conkin to operate with many world experts on various aspects of oral surgery, head and neck pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, and facial cosmetic surgery and utilize this knowledge in all aspects of his surgical practice today.

This is the best dentist I've been to. I barely have any wait-time as they stick to their appointment times very well. The office staff are friendly, but efficient. The doctor and staff are very respectful of my inherent dread of dental work and do their best to make me feel comfortable. I'm grateful to have such a great dentist office in my small town, which is so much more convenient to me than driving into Kokomo. I know the doctor is who I should be complimenting the most, but I have to give a big shout-out to Tammy who did such a nice job with my temporary crown and who, after I asked, made sure to tell me about the phases to the process and keep me updated on what they were doing throughout the procedure.

Dr mclellan is a a boss in the denistry profession! He doesnt settle for thats good enough, he strives for perfection. I will be forever grateful to him, angie, tammy and all the ladd dental staff! Thank you so much!!

The Kokomo office is terrible! Paid out of pocket for a root canal and a crown only to have it fall out after just 15 months later. I assumed they would make it right. They did not. Ladd Dental refused to make it right and fix it. Instead they told me to contact the dentist (that is no longer with them) and see if he would fix it. Heck, they are so scummy they wanted too charged me $80 for coming in just to talk them about the issue. Expect poor quality and terrible customer service from them.

Love the staff! They always make me feel as comfortable as possible (which isn't easy due to my giant fear of the dentist office) and are always very friendly. They make me happy to come back. Plus the reminders are also super helpful.

Absolutely wonderful staff! I was nervous about trying out a new dentist after a bad experience at a different office years ago. I expressed my concern and they helped me feel perfectly at ease and made everything go so smoothly. I'm so glad we found Ladd Dental Group!
