Dr. Berthelot grew up in Chalmette,LA and now resides in Mandeville. He graduated from Brother Martin High School and then attended LSU in Baton Rouge earning a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences. He worked as a microbiologist for Domino Sugar Refining before pursuing his career in dentistry. He graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. In 2015 Dr. Berthelot did research on New Bonding agents and was selected to present his findings at the prestigious IADR in Boston. Since graduation he has pursued his learning by attending hands on courses on implant placement, maintenance, and socket grafting extraction sites. Dr. Berthelot is passionate about dentistry and focuses on maintaining a stress-free experience for all of his patients.
Dr. Priya Patel grew up in Galveston, Texas. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015. Dr. Patel went on to complete dental school at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with higher honors and a distinction in teaching honors in 2020. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Foundry Dental Center in Birmingham, Alabama. There, she received advanced training in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, IV sedation, implant placement & restoration, restorative & preventive dentistry.
Dr. Q grew up on the Northshore attending Northlake Christian for grammar school and St. Pauls for high school. After high school, he completed a B.S in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Q came back home to attend LSU School of Dentistry and graduated in 2009. Dr. Quartano strives to provide high quality and long lasting dentistry for all of his patients while maintaining a stress-free experience.
Dr. Quartano is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Northlake Dental Association, and has attained D.O.C.S. certification. Dr. Quartano has served as Committee Chair for the LDA Council on New Dentist since 2011. Dr. Q is also a member of Spear Faculty Club which limits its membership to just 1000 dentist worldwide. Since graduating from dental school Dr. Quartano has completed over 700 hours of post doctorate education in Implants, Oral surgery, Cosmetic dentistry, Endodontics, Invisalign, and Advanced Restorative techniques. Dr. Quartano has also completed Foundational and Core workshops at the Spear Center for Advanced Dental Education.

Dr. Staples is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences . He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University Dental School in New Orleans. Dr. Staples has a deep-rooted passion for dentistry and helping people improve and maintain their oral health. Dr. Staples stays active in the dental community through his memberships with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Louisiana Dental Association, and Northlake Dental Association. Dr. Staples has competed foundational workshops at the Spear Center for Advances Education. He strongly believes the best way to provide his patients with the greatest quality of care is remaining a constant student. When Dr. Staples is not in the office he enjoys cooking with his wife Michelle; training his German Shorthair, Jeb, and growing vegetables in his gardens. Originally from Baton Rouge, Dr. Staples also loves to hunt, fish and attending LSU football and baseball games.

First impression not clean , like was freaking me out not clean considering i would have someones fingers in my mouth shortly . Smelled off , like it needed a deep cleaning with a plug in basically masking the smell. There was grit and grime on the floors , asked to use bathroom - toilet dirty , floors dirty , the soap was a old scented non bacterial bottle hand soap ; when i came out bathroom wanted to confirm my insurance covered all the services since i was already contemplating on walking out was told that because the 2 min form i filled out delayed my check in process because they were behind , so may not have time for cleaning not to mention they moved me up a week from original appointment - but thats besides the point my concern was the cleanliness of the place , i only was going there because no where else would accept insurance i currently have but i would prefer to pay out of pocket after seeing the conditions of the office , reminded me of the humane society and thats a vet clinic.... Fortunately I can swing paying out of pocket but alot of people cant, and thats sad that is their only option. Hope this review helps improve the conditions.

The friendly staff makes me feel right at home. Tara did a great job with teeth cleaning. Dr. Patel is both warm and highly skilled. I'm glad I found Lacombe Dental!

The staff was very professional, friendly, and empathetic. The doctor was gentle and kind. Overall it was an experience that I will go through a few times, but I have no worries about it.

My wife has been a patient for a short time and she absolutely loves them. Im finally in a position to get dental work done and I highly recommend the services. The staff is professional, efficient and personable. The x-rays, evaluation and proposed estimate were done so fast. Looking forward to being up front and smiling again....

Staff was nice buy not happy with the outcome. I wanted my teeth xray examined and cleaned because my insurance will cover it. Instead I was handed an estimate charges for lots of other procedures. Nothing was done but x-rays and examination. Was extremely disappointed by not having any of my requests done. Left in tears was chased down by some one in the office that said that left a prescription that I did not need or requested. Felt as if I really didn't matter and not satisfied with the outcome.

I only tried this place because it's within my insurer's metwork. My usual dentist I pay out of pocket. The staff at the front desk are lovely, the only reason they rate a star at all. The place itself is modern and well equipped. The actual dental experience was the worst I've had since the NHS in England. Rough dentist left me very sore for weeks, kept hitting my incisors with the drill head and was more interested in chatting with her assistant than doing the job. Not only that but she botched one of the fillings, failing to get proper contact with the adjacent teeth. I had to go back to my usual dentist to get that fixed. Even worse, they told me I needed root canal treatment on a healthy tooth, and tried to pressure me into a whole lot of other work I didn't need. The tooth that was actually troubling me, they said was fine. I will not be back here, ever.
