Wed like to make it known that La Mesa Dental Center complies, meets and exceeds all County of San Diego Health and Human Service Agency COVID-19 Prevention Orders, Sanitation Protocols and Recommendations. The health and safety of our patients and staff are top priority. To ensure this, weve implemented the following protocol, effective immediately:

3-hour Disinfecting Cleaning Protocol:-All frequently touched surfaces at all common areas are disinfected every 3 hours throughout the day.-The Bactericidal, Tuberculocidal and Virucidal agent used at our office kills in 30 seconds: Human Coronavirus ( Covid-19), Avian Influenza A Virus ( H3N2) and Pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza A virus and 20 other pathogens.-We follow, complay and constantly strive to exceed all OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards and Guidelines ( 29 CFR 1910.1030).

-The Bactericidal, Tuberculocidal and Virucidal agent used at our office kills in 30 seconds: Human Coronavirus ( Covid-19), Avian Influenza A Virus ( H3N2) and Pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza A virus and 20 other pathogens.

Level 2 Filtration Machine Our offices advanced air filtration system removes nearly 100% of airborne particles, as well as the vast majority of toxic ozone, volatile organic chemicals and gases. This filter is 100x more effective than ordinary HEPA filters. All air passes through a sealed system so that it is pure and filtered.

In addition to these extra precautions, we are continuing our regular practices for a sterile dental office environment. This includes: Our office has a centrally installedUV light. This powerful unit keeps our entire dental office space free of contaminants by vastly improving the air quality. It kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold spores, and other harmful threats. The machine purifies and sterilizes the air, while removing odors. Without it, air would be circulated through the system over and over again, making it potentially harmful.

We emulate the standards of The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as they clearly define proper dental facility maintenance requirements and procedures. Their recommendations are research-based and intended to ensure safety for all by reducing the risk of health-related infections and cross-contamination.

Dr. Mechev is the best dentist I have ever had. I find him to be honest and straightforward, giving his professional opinion and advice regarding dental work and not pressuring his clients into doing one route or another. He is also the only dentist to ever go over my x ray scans with me, going in depth and explaining to me what is going on and answering any questions I had during the process. I find that he does listen and cares about my feedback during my appointments, and isn't just a "yes" man. He is definitely a man of detail, and takes his craft seriously, which I appreciate and find fitting for this line of work, as he as done work on me that I don't think many others could/would do. He is always patient and professional with me and understands I take my health very seriously. I definitely recommend Dr. Mechev to my friends and family. The staff here are also great, and the facility itself looks amazing on the inside.

The staff is absolutely amazing from the doctor to the front desk and the hygienists. They do an awesome job whether it's cleaning or cosmetic work. The place is clean and very beautifully set up! Prices are fairly reasonable too. Monica was my hygienist and will not go elsewhere!

The best dental experience I have ever had! Dr Cvetan Mechev goes above and beyond and helped me with an emergency dental situation I had while I was on holiday visiting from LA. The office is clean and lovely and it actually felt like I was at a spa not a dental office! I'm even considering driving from LA for all my future dental needs. 10/10 experience - I can highly recommend.

If you are looking for a great dentist in La Mesa or the areas around, Dr.Mechev is the best one!!!! I have never met a dentist like Dr.Mechev who is so professional, caring, and passionate about what he does and takes his time with each patient to explain in details the diagnosis, procedures, treatment plan etc. He also makes sure patients understand and make the right decisions/ choices for their dental health. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, talented and I am grateful I found him as my doctor. His office is also spotless clean, latest technology and staff is friendly and nice!!! I highly recommend him, he is a gem!!!!! All my family members and friends see him and never fail to thank me for referring to him!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Staff is outstanding and Dr Cvetan Mechev is so warm and caring! Very knowledgeable and thorough!! I not only had my teeth xrayed & cleaned, but I enjoyed a relaxing visit in Croatia as I sat in the dentist chair watching a beautiful video of the country along with soothing music! My visit was delightful!! Thank you!!

Dr Mechev a dentist that considers the patient's experience by insuring the patient's comfort. Shots are painless and the crowns he makes in his office are comfortable and not bulky like gold crowns.

I have never liked my front teeth. They were not even and one of them was chipped at the edge. I was always recommended to fix it with veneers. I didn't know that there is a cheaper way to do it until I met Dr.Mechev. He fixed my front teeth with bonding at affordable price. He will always give you all treatment plan options without trying to sell you unnecessary expensive dental work. For me He is a dentist I can trust.
