After more than 50 years of experiences with numerous local dentists, all of whom have provided me with care and treatment of the highest quality, I have concluded that Dr Ismaj and team set the standards for the profession/art of dentistry. My case presented multiple difficult and varied obstacles, challenges, choices and set-backs and took over 2 years to resolve. When the initial consultation and exam were completed, Dr Ismaj assured me that he could and would deliver the optimal outcome; "I will take care of you", was his repeated promise. Along with his abundant professional knowledge and skill, Dr Ismaj's unrelenting perseverance and devotion to excellence, compassion, consideration and concern over the long treatment period have given me quality function, comfort and aesthetics infinitely beyond my expectations. Dr Ismaj can and "will take care of you."

Dr. Ismaj is a rockstar! Best dentist in San Diego hands down. Been going for 10+ years and have always been treated with respect and utmost care. Personal Protective Equipment PPE is top notch & staff/dental hygienists are friendly and complete very thorough work. Highly recommended!

Dr Israel was absolutely wonderful! He went out of his way right before he was going to close to help me out. I am from out of town and he treated me like family. I could not be more impressed with this office and would come here for all my dental needs if I was a local!

Doctor Israel is the best dentist I've ever had. Hands down! Very personable and knowledgeable about his field! I've been going to him for almost 10 years and would never go to anyone else. Great hygienists as well. And I never have to wait. The moment I walk in, I'm immediately seen! Highly recommended!

I was traveling and lost a crown. Dr. Ismaj squeezed me in immediately, examined me & gave me my options. Since his best estimate was that I'd be okay till I got back home, I elected to do that, and he wouldn't even charge me anything. Very different from the hard sell a lot of dentists give you. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ismaj is an absolutely fantastic dentist with a wonderful staff. If you need a dentist, especially if you live in downtown SD, you should absolutely get an appointment at Avoid Urban Decay.
