An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Claudia is the best! She is so kind, reliable, easy to talk to, and so helpful. Always brightens my day to see her! Super accommodating with scheduling appointments and she checked our insurance, saved us from all the stress. Did everything effectively and quickly, made everything so much easier. The doctors are very nice, very good at what they do. Always feel so welcomed here!

This is the Best dentistry ever ! I have been a patient of Dr. Mobasher for over 4 years and I am so happy that I have found her practice ... The entire staff including the receptionists, the hygentists and other specialty Doctors are all so professional and also friendly and courteous... I have had extensive work done on several occasions , the last being 6 crowns on my upper front teeth ( they look awesome) ... I love my smile ! I have recommended Dr. Mobasher to my best-friend and he has nothing but praise as well ... I highly recommend La Costa Dentistry ...

I get compliments on my teeth all the time. And this is because I have been with Dr. Mobasher since she was at another office. So I've been coming to her for at least 13 years. She is not only an exceptional dentist who works hard to give me the highest quality dental work, she also has a wonderful personality that makes coming to get dental work like visiting a friend. Her staff are very friendly and find a way to make even busy moments feel like you are being thought of. They are all so personable and thoughtful.

I am very fortunate that I found La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics over 5 years ago for me and my spouse. Drs. Mobasher and That, their expert clinical hygienists, technicians and staff are highly skilled and use the latest dentistry technologies. Moreover, they always make our office visits as pleasant and informative as possible. They make us feel we are part of their family. I have been a patient of Dr Mobasher for 10 years...my kids as well. I have only had to get one procedure in that time and it was cost effective. Dr mobasher offered at no charge extra cleanings for my son due to fluorosis between visits if his front teeth got discolored. He would get embarrassed and not smile. She did this for years free of charge! I do come in for one extra cleaning a year and it isn't too pricey outside of my insurance. I really appreciate her as other dentists make up procedures. I don't have to worry with her. Highly suggest!

I'm only leaving 2 stars cuz ladies from the front desk were kind and I don't want to them to feel like review is for them. Review is for the horrible dentist I saw. Since the beginning she was very pushy and trying make me believe i need extra work and have gum infection (which I don't , i have been to the dentist more this year than any other one due to extraction of my tooth) , she gave said i don't look like i had my cleaning done and that i should have deep cleaning done cuz the infection is there and we need to take action. of course deep cleaning is like 460$ after the insurance is applied! And i have really good insurance. Other than that she found other things that are "wrong" with my mouth. Which again I never had any dentist saying all of that negativity and trying to charge me so much. They wanted to charge me twice more for crown than my previous dentist. Overall i feel like that place is just trying to take money from you. Very hard to explain in the comment how u professional and discouraging that dentist was. I already made an appointment with another place. If you value your money stay away from them.

Dr Ayouty was so great! I was so nervous about getting my cleaning done but she explained everything to me so well and made me feel so comfortable! she was so gentle with the cleaning and made me feel excited about my teeth! everyone in the office is so friendly, especially Claudia at the front. I would recommend this office to everyone

NEVER have I and my loved ones been treated with such blatant disrespect and outright fraud. Having worked in Healthcare management most of my career, I am appalled by the conduct of this practice. The staff are outright liars when it comes to what is actually covered by one's insurance and what La Costa Dentistry blatantly denies. They shamelessly deny that covered procedures and dental products are not covered. Even after having our insurance company call them MULTIPLE times to make them aware of their misstatements, they turn right around and still lie to your face. Even armed with the comprehensive fee schedule IN MY HANDS while talking to their staff in person yielded zero results. The same fee schedule the insurance company sent to them at the same moment I was on premises and discussing with their manager and staff. Then they play the stall game. They insist that for covered items that we must get prior authorization which is a multi-week process. You see, by putting one into the position of dealing with severe dental pain waiting for the authorization for something CLEARLY covered, their sole intent is to back you into a corner and submit to their ridiculous assertions. We have given La Costa Dentistry ample opportunities to not rip us off and be professional, to no avail. No organization operates to this level of dysfunctionality without those who run and own the organization knowing about it and endorsing it. Do yourself, your family and your friends a huge favor. Avoid this location and find care elsewhere.

I needed to establish a new dentist because the one I went to for 35 years retired. I made an appointment at La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics for an exam, X-rays and cleaning. I reiterated to them at the time of making the appointment I would like a cleaning. When I got there the doctor said I needed a deep cleaning and a Lazer treatment not covered by my insurance. My gums had never bled during other cleanings or my flossing or brushing. In fact my last hygienist and dentist told me I have very healthy beautiful teeth. But after the instrument this new dentist used to measure my gum pockets was pushed into my gums of course they bled! I've never felt such pain. They also said I would have to wait to have this deep cleaning service and I would be numbed. I left and then saw a dentist friend who specializes in gum disease and he said my gums and teeth were fine and I didn't need a deep cleaning or anything else! I've never experienced this in my 67 years and hope I never do again.

I have been a patient for years and Dr. Mobasher always takes great care of me! It's so hard to find an honest dentist that has your best interests at heart and Dr. Mobasher is one of those Great dentists that treats you like family. The dental assistants are also always very nice and helpful. I highly recommend La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics!

Dr. Mobasher treats my whole family. I have 7 children, and she has taken care of my 4 year old son, all the way up to my 75 year old mother. Her office is quick to respond and I never feel like she is doing dental work just to up sell me. I am constantly telling my friends and co-workers that I have a better dentist than they do. When I chipped my front tooth and was super embarrassed because I looked like a pirate, Dr. Mobasher made time in her schedule to come in early and fix it as good as new.

I was referred to(La Costa Dentistry) Dr. Mobasher from another friend that had been going for years. I made an appointment over the phone and when I arrived I was greeted by someone friendly at the front desk. I was a little nervous, because going to the dentist is stressful. Dr. Mobasher made me feel so welcome, at ease, and cared for. She was so authentic and honest. She even pointed out things on my X-ray and areas that I need to brush more. She took the time to answer all my questions and wasn't in a rush to leave. It is so hard to find a dentist you can trust. She was very personable and I felt like my cleaning was great and thorough. My husband now scheduled to go and I am thankful we found a dentist we can trust.

Not saying I am an ideal patient, but, Claudia, Monica, and Dr. Neda Mobasher made my experience at La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics extremely easy. I called with a tooth issue, and need to speak at a conference in 4 days, but they cleared a spot for me to be seen. I can't thank the team at La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics enough and look forward to years of dental care.

I went to this dentist to get some pain in a tooth solved. The dentist advised me to get some crowns as part of the handling. It took many visits to get the crowns done. It cost $6500. After the crowns were "completed" one of them kept falling out. It took 3 more visits to get this taken care of. Thought it was taken care of but no. In one visit the dentist did not have the correct sized bit for the job which is a basic item in preparing for a patient. Bottom line the crowns were not correctly installed and the bite was wrong. A few months went by and another tooth broke as there was too much pressure on it from the wrongly aligned bite. Then the whole bridge broke apart. I went to another dentist who was an expert. He had to get a procedure done called tooth lengthening to make a new solid bridge for me. He did the job. It cost another $7000 but at least I had a bridge that will last. Recently my wife went to see this dentist and had a similar experience after a root canal. So, in summary don't expect to get a professional job here and instead find a dentist that knows the job and takes the care to get things right the first time.
