Kenneth E. Jang, D.D.SDr. Kenneth Jang graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in Southern California in 2011. Soon after, he joined a group practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 2 years focusing on improving his clinical skills without the stress of running a business. He then decided to move back to California, calling Sacramento region his home, a place he always wanted to live since he was young.
Dr. Jang is passionate about providing high quality dentistry services of all aspects with highest ethical and moral standards. He likes to take his time and get to know his patients personally, making them as comfortable and providing them with a great overall experience as possible. He strives to treat his patients as if they were his family members, doing what is only right and necessary.
Over the years, Dr. Jang has volunteered in multiple international mission trips, to Peru, Belize, Mexico, and Philippines. He also volunteers locally around the region and one day, he would like to commit to a long term mission work.

At first it was a pleasant visit, however it turned terribly wrong. I was complaining of lower jaw pain, the Doctor who was very nice looked at my tooth and told me it was cracked all the way down to the root. They used their metal tools to remove plaque like usual and I was not really in that much pain at the time. However, after the cleaning and the exam, my tooth was exposed to physical manipulation which caused major pain when I got home. I looked in my mouth and my root of my tooth was now exposed to air. Plus, my cracked tooth was now just throbbing pain like I never felt before. So I called the office and asked for pain medication because my tooth was not to be pulled for 6 days by another Dentist in Jackson. I was given a prescription for medication, 1 pill every 4 hours X 15 pills. Are you kidding me! So that is two days worth of medication. My jaw is killing me, now, this is the first time I have ever had tooth pain in my life, but I felt like #$%@. It was I could do to make it through the day. I couldn't eat, other than some crackers and some bananas. So I called all day three days later before the weekend came up and left 5 messages with staff, once with a real person, the rest on a answering machine, begging for pain medication. I never received a phone call that entire day. So an update, the Doctor and staff called this morning and apologized very kindly, gave me a prescription for the pain and I was satisfied. For the doctor to call very early to check up on me do to this review, I find very professional.

Love this place. My kids have always felt safe there. Stacy up front is personable and friendly, even when she's busy. Dr Jang is nice and gentle.

Highly recommended. Everyone at la Contenta dental make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Jang and his hygentists do the best work at making it a pain free experience and walk you through with what's going on in your mouth if you feel lost. Made the decision to come here 3 years ago and I'm glad I made that choice. Also as a plus they laugh with you not at you, even when your jokes aren't that funny :D
