Dentists are great. Receptionists are awful. They can never have it together. So much time I've missed from work just because they don't have it together. They have given me wrong appointment times in the past and then they couldn't see my kids. I thought it was getting better, but here we go again. They have canceled on me one day before the appointment a few times after I have already requested the time off. Now I receive a missed appointment warning notice, I have never missed any appointment. I really like the dentists, that's why I keep taking my kids there. They need to get it together, it's been years.

I come here all the time as a African American I see lots of racial bias missing Treatment of African-American people and have never seen a black person there

They staff is unfriendly especially the front desk and door. My baby need a tooth removed and there's a waiting list. I came in cause she was in pain and she sent home. No work done. She been going there for 3.5 years and she can't get anything but fluoride???!!!!

My daughter suffers from craniofacial disorders. She needed a tooth extraction prior to the bone graph surgery. They have a lot of unprofessional doctors here. They seemed unconcerned about my daughter's pain. Instead of conducting a thorough examination, the doctor peered into my daughter's mouth and sent us home, despite the fact that she had a broken tooth at the gum line. I'll never return to this clinic. This clinic is the worst... My poor child is now terrified of the word "dentist."

The staff here are extremely rude and have no respect for their clients. The way the ladies behind the front desk speak to the patients is very unprofessional. I sat right next to the front desk and as soon as patients walked away from being checked in the ladies behind the front desk started to talk bad about the patients and their insurance they were using. No one behind the front desk is wearing their masks correctly and neither of them are wearing name tags. I was 2 minutes to my appointment and they had me and my daughter wait in their lobby for an hour and a half with no communication on when or if my child will be seen. The worst dental clinic we have ever been too!

I will not be returning. I missed an appt in February. I called twice to confirm the appointment for March so I took that day off work. I receive a letter stating I missed another appointment for an earlier date. Then when I call to explain the situation I'm told there's nothing they can because they left a voicemail( which they did not). I didn't even have a missed call from the dental clinic.

My daughter has a appointment at 11:00AM. I arrived 11:01 AM. They did not bring me inside until 1:00 PM. We were waiting in the car with my 2 kids .One is 3 year old and another is 7months old . I needed to feed baby food to him. I really upset . I asked someone at 12:47 PM , they said they forgot to call me . I am so sad . Next time I were never come . Really bad services . I never posted before I have bad feelings but now I really really sad .

This is the worst place to take your kids to the dentist, people are so unprofessional and rude, all they want is the money. They don't care what your child needs! I will never come back to this place again! Save your time parents this place is not worth it!

Stay away from Dr. Artiga. She has no compassion for children patients and their parents. Instead of performing a thorough examination she peered in my daughter's mouth and sent us home even though she has a tooth broken at the gum line. Very unprofessional it's no wonder their rating is so low.

I will not be returning, very unprofessional & rude receptionist. I missed an appt in May because i didn't get a reminder call I had call few weeks earlier to change the phone number on file I didn't get the call I called back to see what the number on file was and the receptionist said it was the old phone number on file so I once again changed it. My daughter was there two weeks ago I even scheduled 4 appointments in advance all for me to walk in and have the receptionist tell me they couldn't see my daughter that she's missed 4 appointments but when 2 of those appointments were their fault they didn't call to remind me there's no prove I've ever got letters mail i never received one they're not organized with their work. The "supervisor" has the audacity to tell me they can still see my child as a walk in patient as if I can walk in every day to see if their is availability

I had to share my experience since I saw so many bad reviews! I love this office. It is a professional and well run facility which sees a large volume of patients. The atmosphere and quality is similar to our experiences at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, which it is affiliated with. Plus, it is the only pediatric dentist I found in Oakland which is fully covered by insurance! I have had only positive experiences with the front desk, dentists and orthodontists.
