La Casa has been in operation since March 1976 and has since then expanded primary care, dental and behavioral health services in Roosevelt, Curry, Chaves and Lincoln County. In addition, La Casa has expanded services to the campuses of Eastern New Mexico University in Portales and Roswell. I have enjoyed the privilege of being your advocate for affordable primary health, dental and behavioral health services and serving as your Chief Executive Officer for 33 years. Dr. Thom is fluent in both English and Spanish. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical Center in Bronx, New York.
