I would like to introduce myself and invite you to my dental practice. At LV DentalArts we utilize the latest technology, combined with friendly service and straight talk to provide you and your family with a comfortable, positive experience every time you come see us! Our emphasis is on conservative, comprehensive care to help you achieve and maintain optimal dental health. I do believe in taking my time with each and every one of my patients to do the best dentistry I can, while making sure you understand the whys and what fors of any treatment we do.
I have made developing and perfecting my skills as a dentist a top priority from the day I started my dental education. After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1997 with High Honors, where I was ranked in the top 5% of my class my senior year, and earning several awards and accolades along the way, I completed an American Dental Association accredited one year hospital based General Practice Residency at Bethesda, Maryland. Only a very small percentage of general dentists complete this type of formal training program before entering practice.
Continuing my professional development, in 2004 I was awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, the largest organization for general dentists in the country. I had to complete over 500 hours of continuing education since graduation (as a reference, dentists licensed in Nevada are required to complete only 20 hours of continuing education per year to maintain their licenses), and then pass a rigorous written examination in order to qualify for Fellowship. To sum it up, I take pride in my work, and it shows!
With over two decades experience, I have been practicing in the Las Vegas and Henderson area for several years, and my goal has always been to treat my patientsand friends as I would like my own family to be treated.

Incredible office staff, hygenists, and dentist. Graciously worked with my schedule to get me in for exam and cleaning on same day and are great to work with if youre doing insurance or cash pay. Fantastic place!

Ok I am super sensitive to stress which raises my blood pressure which the a rays did. It went on forever and that was horrible for me. Then when I was told they were going to extract 2 teeth I was not ready for that mentality. The reason I am stress sensitive is when you find out your wife has 5 months to a year to live. That alone is stress to the maximum because I love her so and have for 63 years. If I can get in a good place stress I will arrange to have those 2 molars extracted. Jim behrendt..if I had taken a tranquilizer my blood pressure would not have been to high for the dentist to extract the 2 molars.
