Dr. Metsger has been providing the Greensburg, and surrounding area, with the very best in Cosmetic and General Dentistry for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1986. He is board certified in placing and restoring Dental Implants to replace missing or damaged teeth. He is a member of the American Dental Implant Association.

The Academy of General Dentistry and The Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America are two of his continuing education resources. He also belongs to local and regional study groups, which meet monthly to discuss the ongoing innovations in dental techniques. Dr. Metsger feels it is of the utmost responsibility to stay current with new procedures, materials, and advanced dental technologies. He completed a fellowship in Dental Implants. He attended the renowned Implant Seminars series implant course in Miami, Florida. There, he completed the required hours and hands on placement of Dental Implants.

I am a Greensburg native and am excited to be back after receiving my degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. It has always been my goal to become a dentist and to serve the people of our community. I enjoy practicing all components of dentistry, including but not limited to cosmetics, surgery, and orthodontics. However, I am most looking forward to getting to know my patients and providing high quality care in a positive and comfortable setting.

When I am not working, you can find me outside enjoying the sun by hiking, golfing, and grilling in the summer. In the winter, I love being on the slopes skiing as well as warming up next to the fireplace with hot chocolate. My favorite year-round activity is spending time with Kayla in our quaint brick house in Greensburg.

I attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. During my time there, I developed a special interest in surgery, implantology, and endodontics; however, I enjoy practicing all aspects of general dentistry. I love getting to know my patients, and I do my best to provide a comfortable and fun environment for those in my care.

I am from the state of Washington, where I grew up with a love of outdoor recreation and all things coffee. I am a proud Washington State University alumni and football fan, though I have made room in my heart for the Pittsburgh Penguins! In my spare time I enjoy swimming, hiking, traveling, cooking, and curling up with a good Netflix show or book. Additionally, Lance and I relish spending time with each other in our new home in Greensburg!

I live in Murrysville with my husband of 30+ years, two dogs and one cat, as new empty nesters. Our 3 adult sons have gone to start their lives with their wives and furbabies. I love to spend quality time with my large family, which includes 24 nieces and nephews. (still counting)

It is wonderful to have joined a dental family where patient care and relationships are valued. I am very grateful that Dr. Metsgers Progressive Dental Studio continues to place clinical/patient relationships and family as their focus. I look forward to meeting you!

I graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers in 1990 & I chose dental assisting because I love working & interacting with people. I am married &have a son that is 11 years old. Our family enjoys camping at our place in Cooks Forest. My co-workers tell me I am a very positive & bubbly person. Ilove my job & I am so blessed to work with this dental family.

Winning over anxious dental patients is a passion of mine. I love being able to help people who haven't been to the dentist in years, overcome their anxieties and fears so they will return for routine care. It is very rewarding to introduce young children to the dental office for their first cleaning and exam so they can become lifelong believers in dental health.
