Dr. Tina Kell is a native to the Lewiston/Auburn area and graduated from Monmouth Academy where she was her class president. She has been a longstanding member of the Maine dental community starting with her dental hygiene career in 1990. Dr. Kell completed her dental hygiene education at the University of New England/Westbrook College in 1993 and practiced as a dental hygienist in Maine for 9 years.
She later went on to study dentistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia were she was a recipient of the Dr. David Manual Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Patient Care multiple times and was a clinical instructor in periodontics. She received her DDS degree in 2006 and was in the top 5 of her class.
Dr. Kell immediately went on to attend the University of Toronto where she completed her endodontic residency and received her Masters degree in Endodontics. During her endodontic residency, Dr. Kell served as an Endodontic Instructor of undergraduate dental students for laboratory and patient clinics. She was honored by the American Association of Endodontists and Dentsply with the Resident Award for her research on GT series X rotary endodontic instruments/metallurgy. Dr. Kells numerous publications and research focused on the advancement of endodontic technology and oral pathology.
Dr. Kell is an active member of the American Academy of Endodontics, the American Dental Association and the Canadian Academy of Endodontists. Dr. Kell is a fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada and sat on the executive board of the Maine Dental Association.
Dr. Kell is passionate about the care of her patients and is an avid animal lover. She strongly supports the Maine Greyhound Placement Service and the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Jennifer is Dr. Kells receptionist and occasional assistant. She and Dr. Kell share the same belief that the patients needs come first and that patient care is of utmost importance. She immensely enjoys working with people and especially providing the level of quality service she feels every patient deserves. When not in the dental office she also enjoys reading, hiking with her dogs, gardening and cooking.
Nadine is Dr. Kells assistant. She brings over 30 years of experience to L/A Endodontics. Nadine is very caring and compassionate and always puts our patients first. Your comfort and support is of utmost importance to her.

I needed the help of an endodontist as recommended by my dentist. Dr. Kell's office is an hour and a half from where I live. However, the drive was very much worth the care I received. The office atmosphere is calming, and all of the staff is just super!

I had gone to another endodontics office in Portland for my problems and received "okay" service until the most recent this year. This time, they wanted to pull my molar, but I didn't want that. I then contacted LA Endodontics in Lewiston and Tina Kell, DDS, MSe, FRCDC did a wonderful job on my molar yesterday and I don't feel any pain today. I've had several root canals, but this one was a walk in the park, and it was a particularly difficult, due to a "less than great" job on that tooth by another firm several years ago in Portland. Dr. Tina Kell is a Endodontics magician!! Best I've ever had, and I recommend L.A. Endodontics, 626 Main Street, Lewiston ME.

I would highly recommend Dr. Kell and her team! They are genuine, caring and help to ease any mom's worries. My son needed emergency care and the whole team went above and beyond to be there for us. They took care of our son with the most gentle hearts and hands. I was able to witness their true passion each step of the way. Our son had such a great experience of which he was so worried about. After they were done, he made an extra point to say "thank you " to them before we left. That night, even though he was sore, he asked if they could be his primary dentist. I told him they are for special dental needs and he responds with "maybe I need to find ways to go back?" Although I assured him we hope he won't need to, but if that doesn't make you want to utilize Dr. Kell and her team for your special dental needs, I'm not sure what will. We will be forever grateful for this team and be sure if anyone needs anything we will be cheering them on to call L/A Endodontics.

Outstanding. I was referred by my dentist to a different endodontist, who's phone presence when setting up an appointment was grating and I opted to shop around. I called Dr Kell's office and was seen without question, and they didn't need a referral. Dr Kell and her staff are above the bar. Very impressive chairside manner and compassion. She's also highly knowledgeable. I hate root canals with every fiber of my being, very stressful. But the pain and anxiety is somehow dampened by the high level of patient focus here.

Fear and anxiety will make me avoid doing things I should. Name one of those "things" root canal and consider me "out"...nope, not me. Let months pass, infection and shame set in and then know it's gotta happen. Don't be like me. Just go to L/A Endodontics and be treated by the nicest. most accommodating and best of all, most skilled professionals available. Dr. Kell and her staff are so wonderful. They are kind, caring and I had NO Pain...ZERO! My brother came to my house tonight with tylenol, an ice pack and soup. I thanked him but declined on the tylenol and the ice. I kept the soup.
