Dr. Bud was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He started his career by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics and taught 8th grade math and science in Forest Hills School District. He then went on to teach at Educational Park in Grand Rapids with talented and gifted students.
After feeling his call for dentistry, he completed his dental education at University of Detroit and began his 38 year career in the dental field. Dr. Bud married his wife, Pamela in 1988 and went on to have two children, Ryan and Holly, who are also graduates of GVSU. Ryan now works for GVSU in management for all special events. Holly and her husband are now dentists at Dr. Bud's previous practice where his wife is the office manager.
Dr. Bud loves dentistry and teaching others about it. Outside of dentistry, he loves to travel, dine with friends, down-hill ski, camp, and spend time in his pool or on his boat. He also loves to race his Corvette along with his wife, who also races! Dr. Bud has a serious passion for his work and giving patients the best care possible.
Amanda has been in the dental field for nineteen years. She started as a Registered Dental Assistant and is now the office manager at Kzoo Family Dental and also a dental assisting instructor part time. Amanda is a Grand Valley State graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Team Building. Amanda is married with five children, a dog named Angus, a cat named Betty White, and several chickens and ducks! In her spare time she enjoys camping and boating with her family, hiking, riding bikes, and going to the beach any chance she gets!
Kelley has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 25 years. Even after all those years, she still has a passion for making patients feel comfortable and prides herself with being very thorough with her patients' care. Kelley is a graduate from Ferris State University. Go Bulldogs!
When she is not working, Kelley loves spending time with her husband and dog, Daisy May. She enjoys spending time with her 14 nieces and nephews and the great outdoors, especially camping. Kelley thanks God for the blessing in her life and career in dentistry.
Aimee is a daughter of a prominent dentist from Battle Creek, Michigan, where she began her career of over 30 years in the field. She worked for her father to fund her training and Kendall School of Art and Design, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and and Masters in Art History. She is married with two children, and has a dog and a cat. She enjoys taking macro pictures of flowers, landscapes, and insects. She also enjoys playing her flute, watching movies, and biking with her family.
Sandra Trudeau Dental Assistant, has been assisting for 32 years. She obtained her dental assisting training at Calhoun Area Career Center. She is a mother of 2 with 2 grand children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys remodeling her home and traveling.
Kayla graduated from Ferris State University with an Associates Degree in Applied Science with certifications in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide. She loves educating patients on the benefits of good oral health care and seeing their oral health improve. Kayla has two dogs, Cash and Ariel. In her free time she loves to spend time on the lake.
