Dr. Coffin was born and raised in Springhill, Louisiana. Being from a small town, he values personal service and believes in supporting local businesses. He comes from a large family, being the youngest of six children. His family is loud and talkative, so he learned how to sit back and be a good listener.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2004 from Louisiana Tech University, where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. After graduating, he spent three years working in a microbiology research laboratory at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 2011. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Coffin took a position in a large dental family practice in Shreveport. He worked there for two and a half years under the wing of a very experienced dentist from whom he was able to learn a great deal.
He is committed to furthering his knowledge of dentistry and keeping up with current developments and technology. He attains this through his membership in the ArkLaTex Academy of Dentistry, as well as numerous other continuing education opportunities. Dr. Coffin genuinely loves his profession, enjoys being able to treat disease and bring his patients out of pain, and takes great pride in his work.
He has been married to his wife, Patricia, since 2007. They have four children, Jimmy, Kate, David, and John. Rounding out his family are one cat and one dog. Dr. Coffin loves animals and worked for the veterinarian in his hometown for six years, through high school and college. He is a diehard fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoys playing golf in his free time. Dr. Coffin is an active memberof St. Therese Church, Knights of Columbus, and Center Rotary Club. He is proud to call Center, TX home.
My name is Amanda Booth. I have been practicing dental hygiene since 2003 and have worked in this office since 2007. I love dental hygiene because I look at it as a puzzle. I enjoy working to arrive at a clean slate and achieve optimum oral health for the patient. I live in Carthage, TX, with my husband and two little boys. In my free time I like to quilt and read.
My name is Michelle Rodriguez. I have been practicing dental hygiene since 1994. I began working for this office in 2012. My favorite thing about my job is being able to get to know the patients and build relationships with them. I live in Garrison, TX and I have three grown sons. I love to travel and meet new people.
My name is Melissa Gustin. I began as a dental assistant in 1997. I have been at this office since 2003. I enjoy being a dental assistant because I love people. I enjoy being able to comfort the patients and help them to feel calm and cared for. I also really enjoy working with this team at our office because we all get along so well. I am married and have a grown daughter who has her own daughter now. I am loving being a grandmother and my favorite thing is spending time with my granddaughter. I also love reading and arts & crafts. I live in Timpson, TX with my husband.
My name is Stephanie. I am originally from California, but I moved to Texas in 2008. I joined Dr. Coffin's team in 2016 after attending school for dental assisting. I have found that I really enjoy working at the front desk, though, answering questions and keeping the day running smoothly for our patients and our team. I have two sons and two dogs. I love animals and try to assist shelters in finding homes for dogs and cats.
My name is Patricia. I grew up in Shreveport, LA. I am married to Dr. Coffin and we have 3 beautiful children, two sons and a daughter. We have been married since 2007. I have a degree in Elementary Education and taught in public schools for 6 years. I am excited to use my skills to help educate patients about dental health and make connections with our youngest patients. In my free time, I teach Faith Formation to children at our church and I am a member of the Xi Alpha Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi here in Center. Our sorority chapter puts on the Breakfast with Santa event each December. Our family loves music, traveling, and Red Sox baseball.
