Dr. Alexis Tessler specializes in creating harmony between her patients teeth and jaws, utilizing science and aesthetics to achieve the best possible outcomes. Since childhood, Dr. Tessler has been fascinated by the field of dentistry, and after having a wonderful experience with her own pediatric dentist, realized that pursuing a career in this field was her calling. Dr. Tessler loves helping people and being a part of her patients lives. She feels truly fortunate to have a job where she is fulfilled by improving the health and happiness of others.
As an orthodontist committed to excellence in her field, Dr. Tessler is active in continuing her education through regular attendance at local and national professional association meetings. Additionally, she has recently accepted a volunteer speakingposition with the American Dental Association.
A native of Ann Arbor, MI, Dr. Tessler currently resides in Austin, where she has adopted the Dallas Cowboys as her own, though she still cheers on her University of Michigan Wolverines! She also enjoys cross fit, running, competing in triathlons, reading, and traveling. Dr. Tessler is also active in her community, volunteering with local organizations to fight bigotry, racism, and bullying.
Stacy is one of the smiling faces youll meet on your first visit to our office! She has been in the dental field since 2007 and worked with Dr. Tessler since 2013. She has a special way of helping our patients feel comfortable in the office. Her favorite part of the job is explaining why orthodontics is important. When not at the office, she spends time with her three children and two dogs.
Erika is originally from Mexico. She moved to Kyle in 2004. She is married and is a busy mom of 3 beautiful children, all boys! She loves spending family time doing outdoor activities. Erika has been in the customer service industry since 2001, for different corporations. At Kyle Orthodontics, Erika is the Scheduling coordinator. This means she takes care of patients needs via phone or in the office. She will help check patients in and out and verify insurance. Erika is usually the first face you see when you enter our office. She always greets you with a sincere smile and a big hello! When she is not busy at work or with family, she is working towards becoming a caring, registered dental assistant.
Jessica was born in Lockhart, TX and raised in a small town call Prairie Lea. She has been a dental assistant for about 6 years and enjoys interacting with patients and getting to know a little bit about them. She married her high school sweetheart and has 3 beautiful children. She loves spending time with her family either by attending sport games and practices, taking vacations or watching the Cowboys or Spurs. She loves working as an ortho assistant because she gets to watch my patient grow and change with their beautiful smiles.
Perla grew up in New Braunfels, and has been a Dental Assistant since 2017. She has three loving kids. All girls! Perla is passionate about her work. She is great with patients, making them feel comfortable and at ease in the chair. In her free time, Perla loves spending her time with family, going fishing, or having cook outs on weekends.
This is Brenda. She's a fun loving caring person who enjoys what she does. She loves being an ortho assistant because she gets to see patients' smiles transform into something beautiful and when she's not working, she loves spending time with her high school sweetheart and family. She also enjoys arts and crafts, makeup, and baking.
Sandi was born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas and now lives in Lockhart, Texas. When she is not at work, she loves to travel with her mother and sister. She also loves to go hunting and spend time with her 3 children and her 11 grandchildren.
Chris is a Houston native who recently moved to Austin. He enjoys helping patients and his colleagues to make sure everyone gets the attention they need. He currently attends Texas State University to obtain his computer science degree. In his free time, Chris likes to play soccer, try new foods, and explore Austin.

You would be hard pressed to find a better place to get orthodontia services. Dr. Tessler's resume is impeccable--Michigan Undergrad, DDS from University of the Pacific and a Masters from Michigan in Orthodontics. A quick google of dental school rankings will show you that Michigan is the best dental school in the country and Pacific is top 50. So, it is clear that her knowledge and mastery of orthodontics is unparalleled in the area. That is only one piece of the puzzle, as well educated as she is, her bedside/chairside manner is outstanding. She always has an answer for every question and it is always clear, concise, and understandable. She is so kind, thoughtful and always takes the time to visit with me about what is happening with me about what is occurring in my life. Perhaps, the thing that I like most is that she is community oriented. She sponsors so many local community events and gives money to local teachers. She is simply the best. I strongly recommend that you choose her office for your orthodonture needs, you won't regret it.

Dr Tesla is sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. For the past 3 years of having my invisalign, I have had no issues with her. She was able to finally close my gap that has been annoying me for quite some time. My teeth look great and would recommend this place to anyone.

We are so pleased to have chosen Kyle Orthodontics for our two children. Dr. Tessler and the staff are exceedingly patient and kind. They are always quick to answer my (and my children's) questions and thoroughly explain procedures--super helpful if you have anxious children who stress over dental procedures of any kind! We will definitely continue our relationship with this practice once our youngest is ready for braces. Highly recommend!

They had problems from the beginning with the devices made from molds they created for my daughter. Blamed it on their service provider each time. Okay, that can happen. Towards the end my daughter told them she was having difficulty with putting the bands back on, partially due to her food service job. She got it worked out on her own anyway. She was told a parent must be present at next months visit. I had to burn a vacation day to attend. To my shock and disappointment it was to inform me of her expressed difficulty she had last month with the bands and the importance of wearing them. Okay, why didn't they call or email me that a month ago? Her response, we like to do that in person. I told her I had to take vacation to hear that? A month later? So if I daughter hadn't corrected this she'd be 2 months behind because of what they like to do. Idiotic, immature and inefficient time use. So its punishment for the parent. Honestly, my daughter wasn't slacking at all but explained to them she was having difficulty and is she behind now? So the message is this, they waited a month to tell me something they thought important enough for me to be here in person that was already no longer an issue. They need to get their communication upgraded from preschool antics and act like adults. Can't wait to be out of this place. I wouldn't recommend this place. Go find a place where professional adults work with you and your kids that don't play games.

Amazing place! Dr. Tessler and her staff were amazing. They helped give me my smile back after years of work. Almost 5 years as a matter of fact. I am forever grateful. Couldn't have picked a better place other than Kyle orthodontics!!

Literally best orthodontist ever, they gave me the prettiest smile. I always looked forward to my appointments because they were always so welcoming and very efficient. And I loved when Brenda attended me, she's literally my fav. Also the office ladies are always so kind especially Erica.They work very close to every detail of your smile and will make sure it looks perfect at the end. Dr. Tessler is the best ortho ever !!! What can I say! This has to be the best Orthodontist in Kyle! The professionalism, the attention to detail, the friendliness and the expertise is second to none. Not just from Dr. Tessler but from all of her staff. Special mention to Jessica who have been really patient and helpful to me during my maintenance visits. Jessica is fast and efficient and always greets me with a warm friendly smile whenever I visit!
