Dr. Timothy V. Kyger is a 1978 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from OSU in 1975. Dr. Tim Kyger has been in practice in Gallipolis since 1978 and practices with his wife, Dr. Billie Sue Kyger. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, Rehwinkel Dental Society, and a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Tim believes the profession of dentistry has truly undergone a broad transformation. Today, dentistry is very high-tech, science-based, patient-oriented and service-committed. He and his wife, Dr. Billie Sue Kyger, believe in providing the highest quality of care in a comfortable and friendly environment. Ethics is of the utmost importance as we provide oral health care and preserve beautiful smiles.
In addition to Dr. Timothy Kyger's professional commitments, he has been extremely active in the community. Dr. Tim has served as Treasurer for Operation Liftoff of Ohio, a wish-granting organization for children, as well as a member of the Gallipolis City School Board since 1992. He has worked hard to provide quality education and a positive future for the children of our area. He also serves as Trustee at The University of Rio Grande. Additionally, Dr. Tim has served as Treasurer, Council Member, and currently teaches adult Bible study on Sunday mornings at New Life Lutheran Church. Dr. Tim enjoys serving others to make our community a better place to live.
Dr. Billie Sue Kyger is a 1983 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She also received her pharmacy degree from OSU in 1979 and holds an Ohio license in both professions. Dr. Billie Sue enjoys working with her husband, Dr. Timothy Kyger, and is very proud of all the dental team members in her office.

In addition to Dr. Kyger's practice commitment, her leadership skills have taken her to many state and national positions. She was appointed by Governor Taft and Governor Strickland respectively to serve on the Ohio State Dental Board from 2004 until 2011. She served as President of the board in 2010. Also, Dr. Kyger was President of the Ohio Dental Association in 2003 and President of the OSU College of Dentistry Alumni Association from 1992-1993. Additionally, she has been a Delegate to both the Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association and has served on both the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs and the Council on Dental Practice, which she chaired. She is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and she is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Most recently, she has been chosen by the Commission on Dental Accreditation as a pre-doctoral site consultant. Finally, Dr. Kyger was recognized at the Ohio Dental Association 2011 Annual Meeting as the ODA Distinguished Dentist. She served as the American Dental Association 7th District Trustee representing both Ohio and Indiana from 2016-2020.

This place is so wonderful, our kids actually get excited about coming here. You don't feel the tension you get going to most dentist offices, this one is literally like walking into a dental spa. You instantly feel right at home and the staff is so nice and always friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Everyone here is so AMAZING!! My mother, my daughter (1 year old), and I see Billie Sue. She is wonderful. Everyone is so warm and inviting. Billie Sue and her girls are so thorough and informative. We love them so much. And I never feel stressed going in to this office because I know my daughter and I will be in good hands.

I was so nervous about my visit, for multiple reasons, but the staff was great and put me at ease immediately! The hygienist was fabulous! The massage chair was an added surprise! :}

My experience was excellent as always. The hygienist Ashley, was very knowledgeable and professional during the cleaning. She explained everything she was doing. The office was very nice and watching the news while having my teeth cleaned was a bonus. Dr. Tim was professional and punctual. Top notch service with a smile.
