Growing up in South Korea, Dr. Lee knew that his parents would have a say in his future career path. His father suggested that Dr. Lee consider becoming a dentist. Sadly, his father passed away not long after the family moved to Chicago. Dr. Lee wanted to honor his fathers wishes as well as be able to provide for his family, so he chose dentistry as his career.
In 1980, Dr. Lee graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then moved on to theUniversity of Illinois College of Dentistry. Acclimating to a new language and culture while in college proved challenging, and he spent much of his time studying. He earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1984.
With over 30 years in practice, Dr. Lee enjoys this rewarding profession. It makes my day when patients tell me theyre happy with their results. Hes constantly learning more to adapt to the needs of his patients, furthering his education and honing his ability to provide excellent dental care.
The postgraduate training he has undertaken includes instruction from the renowned Dr. Thomas Basta at theFoundation for Advanced Continuing Education(FACE). There, Dr. Lee learned the importance of considering the entire mouth and looking at a patients health holistically to develop a treatment plan. He also received specialized instruction at Mid-Continent Orthodontics and the Misch Implant Institute.
Happily married, Dr. Lee and his wife have three beautiful children. He recently took up piano, intending to become skilled enough to play a duet with his wife, who is a talented musician. Pop and classical songs are both in Dr. Lees repertoire, though he doesnt see as much progress as hed like in his skill level! Hes also active in local charities, feeling it is important to give back and stay involved in our community.

This was the best dental experience I've had in my 29 years. Tiffny and Dr. Loumeau were EXTREMELY kind and welcoming. They explained exactly what they were going to do before they did it, explained the exact out-of-pocket cost, and provided pleasant conversation. They eased any anxiety and shame I have (or had) about my teeth. For the first time, I can say that I am excited to go back to the dentist. 10/10 would recommend (especially if you're anxious/worried about going to the dentist)

Found this location about a year ago when looking for a new dentist that took my insurance. Although it's now a bit out of my way, they are efficient, on time, Tracy is great, and Dr. Loumeau seems knowledgeable. If you're looking for a new dentist I recommend the staff here!

My experience was pretty disappointing. The tech didn't seem to know what she was doing while taking my x-rays. She was touching all over the office and used those same gloves in my mouth which is pretty disgusting. She kept putting the x ray bit pieces in my mouth incorrectly and awkwardly. She yanked my mouth around when she was polishing my teeth and appeared to be moving as fast as she possibly could. She flossed all of my teeth in probably 10 seconds tops which was painful and weird and ineffective. I definitely won't be going back.

I went for my first appointment with Dr. Loumeau and his assistant Tiffany and they were incredible! Extremely kind, took time to explain everything they were doing and giving me a better understanding of what was going on with my teeth, and very good at what they do. I would especially recommend them to anyone with a lot of anxiety surrounding dentists, I left feeling a million times better than I anticipated or have ever felt after going to other dentists because of these two!

Tiffany and Dr. Loumeau were really great! I didn't catch the receptionists name, but she was really nice and professional too. The office is well-designed and the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. They were gentle but thorough with cleaning my teeth, and also got me set up with a really nice nightguard that I thought was really reasonably priced. I usually hate going to the dentist because I always feel a bit guilted or shamed by them but they were really non-judgemental as well. Thanks!

Such great team work & staff. My visit yesterday was better than I expected, shots and the drilling give me anxiety but in the end i was very pleased how easy and painless it was. Dr. Loumeau & Tiffany work so well as a team, they made my experience actually enjoyable

I filled out the online request form for an appointment for a cleaning and promptly got a text back from someone named Lidia, who I assumed was the receptionist. She confirmed my appointment via text, but when I showed up for the appointment and I wasn't on the schedule. I showed the receptionist the text exchange, and she said that she was Lidia and had never texted me. She acted like I must be the one confused even though I could show her the text message chain that I didn't even initiate. She started to take down my information, but her attitude toward me was getting more and more rude, so I left. What a disappointing interaction and a total waste of time.

It's easy to be apprehensive when meeting a new dentist in the same location I've been going to for some 30 years. BUT....Dr Andre Loumeau DDS made the transition easy...... loved him from the start. Smart, efficient, caring, very personable, can also handle scheduling & payment .LOL
