Dr. Lau obtained his Bachelor of Art in Molecular and Cell Biology at The University of California, Berkeley. He then attended The University of California, Los Angeles, one of the finest dental institutions in the nation, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Lau is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Mateo County Dental Association. Through continuing education and state-of-the-art equipment, Dr. Lau is able to offer his patients the highest level of dental health care.

I don't understand why this doctor will have 5 stars on google rating, inaccurate rating at google; I will trust Yelp from now on. The doctor didn't impress me much, what he explained to my treatment plan was I had already known before visiting him. And his assistant was rude, all she cared was the billing payment than caring patient. I won't come back to this office, waste my time and money for the initial consultation fee; clarify clearly with front desk people over the phone, she was too buy to tell you all the payment that you will be responsible for beforehand; so please clarify your payment before coming to see this dentist or you will be surprise for a big bill after visit .

I have been seeing Dr Lau since 2005. Even now that I live in Montreal every time that I go to the bay area I make sure I make an appointment with him. His staff is corteous and friendly ,his office is spotless. Dr Lau sees you right on time. He tells you during the process what he is doing so you are aware at all times, he asks often if you are ok in case you need a break. At the end he asks you if you have any questions. Dr Lau is very professional, attentive and cordial. I recommend anyone looking for a family dentist to visit Dr Lau. you will be glad you make him your dentist.
