Dr. Stephen Kwitnicki is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, one of the premier dental schools in the country. He has been in private practice for over 20 years in both Manhattan and New Jersey and has resided in Summit since 1991.
A former coach of both softball and basketball for the Summit Recreation Department, Dr. Steve also gives annual presentations to children in elementary schools in Summit and other locales. He donates his services to those in need through the Donated Dental program. During the past six summers, he has closed his offices for a week in order to spend his time in Iztapalapa, Mexico, treating residents of this village who otherwise would not receive professional dental services. He has donated many supplies, medicines, and much of his time to this worthy endeavor. This summer he will be doing the same for a community in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Kwitnicki continues to expand his professional horizons. He is now certified to offer dental implants and continues perfecting this process through professional development. In addition, he has become certified by the American Academy of Facial Cosmetic to perform several facial anti-aging treatments.

Dr Kwitnicki is a wonderful, caring dentist. He has been my dentist for many years. We moved to Philly several years ago and still make the journey to Union to see him. Especially good with patients who have a fear of the dentist (me). Highly recommend!

Great experience. Dr Kwitnicki and his staff make you feel extremely comfortable. Avoided the dentist for ten years and they took care of me in three easy visits.

THANK YOU ! By far the best. I went to several specialists over the course of two weeks for tooth/gum pain (each one said they didn't see anything going on). I was having really debilitating pain however x-rays were coming up negative. I was unable to sleep and had difficulty completing work so I knew there had to be something going on. My mother recommended her dentist- Dr. Kwitnicki. He listened to my primary complaints/symptoms and addressed an issue that could not be seen on x-ray! After completing some extensive work I finally felt resolution of my pain ( seriously almost cried because the pain was so severe before was making me nauseous). I can finally rest and also complete work without a severe headache. Thank you !

Quite possibly the kindest dentist out there. My whole family sees him, and he remembers everything about you! Today I was greeted with "so you've got a wedding coming up!" My brother in law is getting married and he was just talking to my mother in law about it! This has such a calming effect, so that by the time he was working on my teeth (2 fillings) my worry was gone. He also explains what he's doing. No pain at all!
