I started seeing Dr. Vander Velden because I was having issues with my CPAP machine and wanted something different for my sleep apnea. He did some assessment and said that I was a candidate for the oral appliance which is an alternative to the CPAP machine. After using the appliance for a few months I was assessed and the studies showed that originally I stopped breathing 67 times/hour and my oxygen levels were 77% and now with the oral appliance I stop breathing 6 times/hour and my oxygen level is 95%. I am amazed at how much better I feel after a good night's sleep. and the brain fog is gone. I can't thank Dr. Vander Velden and his team enough!!

I am so very grateful to Dr. V and his staff. He took into careful consideration the dental trauma I had experienced at another dentist office. He showed great empathy when I shared my anxiety about the pain or having more work done than necessary. He carefully explained the treatment plan and patiently answered all of my questions. During the crowns he and his staff talked me through what to expect and how much time a treatment would take. Cindy at the front of the office helped me find dates and times that worked with my schedule and walked me through the payment process answering my questions about payment plans and options. This is more than a dental practice. This is a group of dental professionals who love people are passionate about helping people have a better quality of life. -Neissa G

Wife and kids have been using KV Family Dental, and I finally made the switch myself last month. Already above and beyond expectations. Very friendly/welcoming staff, great with young children as well. They do a very thorough job, ensuring the highest quality care for our teeth. Happy I made the switch.

I'm new to the area and new to this office, and let me say: I have been impressed and pleased with with everything so far. Staff is kind, patient and friendly. Dr. Vandervelden and his team work smoothly and SO competently together (I had several old silver fillings replaced, two of which required crowns). He uses a tongue guard (can't recall if that's the right term) which allows the patient to relax their jaw during work rather than constantly concentrating on keeping the mouth open. What a huge difference! Also there was no guesswork about cost as a quote was provided ahead of time for each procedure. I highly recommend!

I have Sleep Apnea. I've been in denial for years because I dont want a CPAP. I heard Dr Vanderveldens ad on the Radio for CPAP Alternatives. I thought I would go to the consultation at least and hear more about it. I had the sleep study done and I was a candidate for the Custom Oral Appliance. I went ahead with it and it works. Within days, my snoring stop to almost nothing and I've been sleeping better and staying awake longer. After a couple adjustments my snoring is gone and I have more energy. It fits so comfortably. I have had no mouth pain from wearing the appliance. I was also starting to get TMJ from shifting my jaw and starting to grind. The Oral Appliance fixed that problem too. It fits so snug. I am so happy I did it. Sarah, Dr Vanderveldens assistant has been so amazing to work with and just talk to. So knows her stuff. Thank You so much, Dan

I appreciate the 'save your natural teeth' philosophy, and the honest discussion of options when a tooth needs help. Sara, Dr VanderVelden's tech, is a ray of sunshine and quickly puts you at ease when dental work is needed. Not being a real fan of any dentist, they have gone above and beyond to elevate fears and make every visit as pleasant as possible!

As a first-time patient at KV Family Dental, I had a great experience. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and I had no waiting time upon arrival. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I felt very at ease with the dental hygienist, Riley, and all of the friendly staff!
