Dr. Leavitt is a family dentist with the goal to provide treatment for your entire family! As a father of five children, he is happy to treat patients of all ages. We strive to treat every patient like they were a part of our family. Come experience the difference!
On a personal note, much of my time spent out of the office is with my wife and five children. I love to coach my kids sports teams and have coached soccer, softball, and basketball teams. I also spent 8 years serving as a scoutmaster and troop committee chairman and was able to be a part of about 20 youth earning their Eagle scout award.
My wife and I have been married since the year 2000 and love to spend time together whenever we can get away. It was on one of our few getaways that we fell in love with the Central Coast and decided to raise our family here. I look forward to getting to know you!
Robin, Lorie, and Debbie work with Dr. Leavitt in helping provide you with the best possible dental experience. Their job is to make sure you are comfortable. They are both excellent assistants and are always ready to help you.

Dr. Leavitt's office is simply the best. His staff is fantastic, and we have developed a great relationship with them over the years. In addition to fantastic, honest dental care, everyone cares about how you're doing and sincerely values you as a customer and community member. Sandy always works with me to get an appointment, and the membership plan they offer makes quality dental care affordable. The hygienists are super kind and do great work. My whole family has trusted Dr. Leavitt and his staff since he opened his office and will continue to go back!

This review is for Dr. Jacob Wood who recently partnered with Dr. Leavitt, bu. Dr. Wood was my dentist for a year or so at Peak Dental in San Luis Obispo where I had been a a patient for several different owners of the practice. I was going to leave Peak Dental when I met Dr. Wood and really liked him and thought I would give him a chance. Well, Peak Dental sold to a bigger practice and cut Dr. Wood out of the deal, and he left. During that time, the implant Dr. Wood did was having issues. I tracked Dr. Wood down to Dr. Leavitt's office, and got an appointment to fix the implant. Then COVID hit, and I have been waiting. The moment they were allowed to open up and get me in they called. Dr. Wood fixed the implant with out cost to me and filled another tooth that had broken. The staff help was excellent, the doctors were kind, funny and efficient and I went home happy. If I did not live in SLO, I would definitely make this practice my primary dental care choice.
