At Dentistry for Children in Highland, IN, we are committed to utilizing the best that technology has to offer to deliver outstanding care to our young patients. We are happy to introduce the Solea dental laser to our practice. This revolutionary laser takes the drill, the needle, the noise, the numbness, and the pain out of your childs dental visits.
Solea is a revolutionary laser that replaces the drill in the majority of dental procedures. The laser vaporizes the target tissue using light, without any contact, whether it is tooth, bone, or gum. Solea utilizes a wavelength of light delivered in thousands of pulses per second, which provides an analgesic effect that dulls sensation, meaning no local anesthetics are usually required.
The Solea experience is free of the needle and the sound of the drill. Even the most fearful and anxious of our young patients leave feeling relaxed and comfortable. Procedures are quick and easy and are usually completed in one visit. Your child will have no reason to be fearful of future dental care.
