Dr. Steven M. Moss graduated in 1990 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He spent three years doing extensive research at the University of Michigan in biomaterials. He then spent three years at Sinai Hospital working in the Oral Surgery Department. Dr. Moss was published in the Journal of Operative Dentistry, and has taught CEREC dentistry locally for the past ten years and performed over 15,000 of these restorations.

Dr. Moss believes in providing his patients with his concept of whole life dentistry. It is his philosophy of striving to do what the patient wants and needs, and being able to do it right every time while being as conservative as possible.

Dr. Mayer is a graduate from Rutgers School of Dentistry, completing his general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association. He is a New Hempstead, New York native, moving to Michigan to pursue his career and be close to family in 2018.

Dr. Mayer loves the rewarding experience of returning a patient's smile and self confidence through his dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Mayer enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, good food and learning about other cultures.

Dr. Nicholas Barone, 'Dr. Nick', received his Bachelors in Biological Anthropology from the University of Michigan, graduating with honors. From there, he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy 's School of Dentistry where he remained on the Dean 's List every semester. He is a third-generation Dentist who had a passion for dentistry from a young age.

Dr. Nick is a Michigan native, born and raised in Bloomfield Hills. He loves having the ability to improve patient's lives through the improvement of their oral health. In his free time, Dr. Nick enjoys discovering new music, playing sports and spending time with his friends.

Dr. Mark Isler graduated from the University of Detroit Dental School in 2005. Participating in the accelerated six year inteflex program he received a Bachelor's of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After practicing in Dearborn, Michigan he returned to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry where he entered their Graduate Periodontal Residency program. Upon completion he achieved his Master's of Science degree in Periodontics and became board certified bythe State of Michigan. Dr. Islerhas been published in the Practical Procedures in Aesthetic Dentistry peer-reviewed journal for his clinical work. In addition he has completed training and certification in advanced anesthesia and conscious sedation.

Dr. Isler makes educating his patients a top priority. By sharing his knowledge and expertise his patients are better able to choose the treatment thats best for them. Dr. Islers patients enjoy his gentle touch, and treatment in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Marc joined our team in July of 2018 as a true 'Jack of all trades'. If someone is in need, he is one of the first people to call on. From ensuring our equipment is up-to-date and running properly to jumping chairside to Assist one of our doctors and everything in between, he truly does it all!

Born in Oak Park, raised in Farmington Hills and currently residing in Bloomfield Hills, Marc is a true Michigan native. He obtained his B.A. in Business Administration and studied Pre-Law at Michigan State University then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit School of Law. His favorite things about working at Kuras is helping people with whatever they need, his coworkers and working with some of his family members. In his free time, Marc enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.

Nicole was born in Michigan, raised in West Bloomfield and currently living in Bloomfield Hills. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit School of Law. What she loves most about her job is spending time with her Kuras family and helping out any way that she can. In her free time, Nicole loves to spend time with her family, hang out with friends, meditate every morning and indulge in her guilty pleasure- watching 'Real Housewives' on Bravo TV.

Lyndsay has been with our practice since early 2011. She attended Monroe High, Monroe Community College and received Certification from the Scheduling Institute. In 2018, she received her license in Medical Esthetics. She ensures a steady business flow in her management role and is now excited to offer spa services in our new spa, Exhale that opened in February 2020 right here at Kuras Dental.

Lenore's favorite part of Kuras Dental is working with a positive, upbeat staff. She loves working for a company that gives back to the community and is always looking for ways to stay involved. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, trying new foods and restaurants and relaxing at home with her animals and husband.

In her spare time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spending time outdoors, drinking coffee and trying new restaurants. What does Tara like most about being a part of the Kuras Dental team? The family-friendly atmosphere that allows her to bring new ideas to the team!

Beth is a graduate from the Wayne County Community College Dental Hygiene Program and currently leads our Dental Hygiene team at Kuras Dental. She likes being a part of our team because everyone is so nice and friendly.

Beth's favorite part of being a Dental Hygienist is sharing information with people about their oral health and she loves making her patients happy. In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs. She also enjoys being outdoors and baking.

Caitlin is a native of Monroe and has been with Kuras Dental Health Associates since 2011. She is proud to be part of such a talented, knowledgeable team. Caitlin truly enjoys coming to work every day so that she can help her patients achieve the best oral health possible.

A graduate of Ferris State University, Caitlin is also certified in the use of nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. When shes not busy helping her patients, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family and their Silver Labrador, traveling with in her camper , the outdoors, going to ND football games and interior design.

Molly is a Southgate native and Kalamazoo Valley Community College graduate. She loves working at Kuras Dental because she enjoys seeing her patient's improve and value their oral health. In her free time, Molly enjoys exploring new places, swimming and bowling.

Liz is a great addition to our Dental Hygiene team, joining us in the summer of 2020. She attended Wayne County Community College District and is a graduate from the University of Detroit's Dental Hygiene Program. Liz loves what she does because Dental Hygiene is s a skilled trait that she enjoys and she loves working with her hands. She comes to Kuras Dental with over 14 years of experience and certifications in Nirtous Oxide/Oxygen as well as Local Anesthesia administration.

Liz was born in Oklahoma but has lived all over the US including Texas, Georgia and Michigan, where she spent several years growing up. She also spent some time living in Wiesbaden and Illesheim, Germany. When Liz is not working or spending time with her identical, mirror-image twin daughters, she enjoys cooking, playing games, sunbathing, boating, kayaking, snowmobiling, exercising, gardening, property hunting, wine tasting and taking long drives or road trips.

Samantha joined our Dental Assisting team in January of 2020. She is a Woodhaven, Michigan native and received her Associates in Business Administration from Henry Ford College. She joins us with eight years of experience and is a great asset to our team.

Samantha loves her job because she loves to help people and this position allows her to educate patients, learn new things everyday and feel appreciated for what she does at the end of the day. In her free time, Samantha enjoys camping, boating and spending time with her family.

Lauren comes to Kuras Dental in August of 2020 with seven years experience in the medical field. Although Dentistry is new to her, she is excited to start this new journey and learn a lot of new things.

Lauren is a Wyandotte, Michigan native. The best part of her job is helping people and making them feel confident and as comfortable as possible. She also loves what a positive environment Kuras is. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Chloe is a Dental Assistant who enjoys being able to help others and make them feel good about themselves. She is a student at Monroe County Community College and holds certifications in First Aid and CPR.

Chloe was born and raised right here in Monroe. When not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, going for walks with her dog, Mazie, and crafting. She also enjoys going to her family's vacation spot in Indiana and sight-seeing.

Shannon joined our team in October 2021. What Shannon likes most about working at Kuras Dental, is that everyday is different and always has an opportunity to learn. She enjoys assisting with root canals, that our patients leave feeling better than when they came in and that her co-workers treat her like family.

In Shannon's spare time, she likes to spend time with family, photography, watch crime shows like Criminal Minds and Blindspot, paint, decorate and swim. Fun fact about Shannon is that she is an aunt of 4 boys and 5 nieces!

Brendan joined our Hygiene Assistant team in August of 2020. Currently a student at the Monroe County Middle College, he will graduate in 2022 with both a High School Diploma and an Associates Degree. He is a National Honor Society member, 2017 MCMC Academic All-Star and MCLS Film Challenge winner.

Brendan is from Newport and likes working at Kuras Dental because everyone is so nice to work with, kind and helpful. When he isn't at school or working, Brendan likes to play piano, write music, bike, read and golf.

What Amber loves most about being part of the Kuras Dental team is helping people and that her coworkers are awesome to work with. In her spare time, Amber enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking care of her two pet goats.

When asked what she likes best about working at Kuras Dental, Jana says 'Everything! Especially the staff and patients'. In her free time, Jana enjoys reading, fishing, playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren who have awarded her the Best 'Nonnie' Ever!

Olivia joined our team in August 2021. Originally from Toledo, Olivia spent the majority of the last 4 years as a Retail Sales Manager before joining Kuras Dental. What Olivia likes most about working at Kuras, is that the team cares about each other as much as they care for the patients.

Courtney is from Monroe and likes working at Kuras Dental because she enjoys learning new things, being part of a team that works with her school schedule and because everyone is nice and helpful. In her free time, Courtney likes to sew, read and watch movies with her dog.

Hanna attends Monroe County Community College where she has earned a spot in the Dean's List. She assists our front desk team in reception and checkout and our patients love her for her bubbly personality and efficiency in her job.

My daughter was horrified to learn she had her first cavity, but even more horrified about getting it filled. Dr. Young and his wonderful staff put her mind at ease. Dr. Young filled the cavity with no painful shot, no pain during the procedure and did it all in under 10 minutes!
