Dr. Kunz earned his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle. He received his bachelor degree from Brigham Young University, and an Associates Degree from Ricks College.After dental school he did a General Practice Residency with the U.S. Air Force in Wichita Falls, Texas. The Air Force only trained 46 dentists per year to send to areas without specialists. It is here that he gained experience in things such as sedation, third molar extractions, and all other aspects of general dentistry. This elective allowed him to live in Texas, Great Britain and Las Vegas before coming to Blackfoot in 1991, close to home where he grew upfarming in Teton Valley.Dr. Kunzs greatest blessings are his wife Sheila, six wonderful children, and nine grandchildren (and counting).
Dr. Matt and his wife Elyssa Cunningham Kunz were both raised in Blackfoot. They have 3 children. As a family they enjoy basketball, football, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are thrilled to be back in the area.
Dr. Matt is a proud graduatefrom Creighton University: School of Dentistry in Nebraska. He received his bachelor degree from Brigham Young University Idaho. Before coming to Blackfoot, Dr. Matt began his career in Dodge City, Kansas, and Soda Springs, Idaho.
Lacie has always had an interest in helping other people and decided at an early age that she loved being in a dental office. She received her Dental Assisting certificate from Idaho State University in 1997 and has been a dedicated employee of Dr. Kunz ever since. Lacie loves getting to know her patients and helping them receive the best care possible while providing a sense of ease and comfort during their visits.Lacie is a busy mother of 5 children and loves her time with family. In her spare time she loves to camp, ski, boat and spend time with family and friends. Lacie loves being a part of Dr. Kunzs dental team. It is not only a fun and friendly atmosphere to work in, but Dr. Kunz is an exceptionally skilled and caring dentist with an exceptional staff.
Paola has lived in Blackfoot since 2010, after growing up in Aberdeen. She finished the Dental Assisting program at Idaho State University in March 2014. She started working for Dr. Kunz in June 2014. Paola loves spending time with her son, wake boarding, camping, four-wheeling, and just about anything thats adventurous.
Marci joined the Kunz Family Dental team in the fall of 2019. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate from Idaho State University. Marci was born and raised in Blackfoot. She is the mother of three wonderful children that she enjoys raising with her husband Jake. Marci has always loved helping people in any way that she could. She loves getting to know all of her patients and assisting in their dental care and comfort. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and can be found outside and reading.
Shelby is from Salem, Oregon. She has lived in SE Idaho for 10 years and loves it. She attended BYU-Provo and then received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University in 2011. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them improve their oral health. She has a wonderful husband and is a mom to three sweet and busy boys. She enjoys reading, crocheting and spending time outdoors with her boys. She is excited to work with Dr Kunz and his staff!
Lisa Beebe is from Burley, Idaho. She earned an Associates degree from BYU-Idaho and a Bachelors degree through Idaho State Universitys Dental Hygiene program. She has worked for Dr. Kunz since 2008. Lisa has fourgreat kids and a wonderful husband.
Claudia has been a registered dental hygienist since 1994. She graduated from Ricks College and then attended Idaho State University where she received a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has returned to contribute at Dr. Kunzs office and thoroughly enjoys her work. She loves getting to know her patients, making them feel comfortable and addressing their oral health needs. Outside of work she enjoys music, gardening, traveling, chocolate and her amazing husband and five children.
Stephanie was raised in Grace, Idaho. She attended College of Southern Idaho where she received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2019 and met her best friend/husband. They have two beautiful children! The best thing in her life is being a wife and a mom. Stephanie loves being a hygienist because she has the opportunity to meet amazing people throughout the day and provide a service to such incredible people.
Jenny Hong has worked at the front desk since July of 2013. Her favorite thing to do is greet the wonderful patients that come every day. She loves playing Settlers of Catan. There are four people that call her Mom which consequently is her favorite title.
Tammy has worked with Dr. Kunz and his friendly staff since 2003. She loves working with the patients and helping them feel comfortable. Tammy grew up in the Blackfoot area. She and her husband Troy have four sons and one granddaughter. She enjoys family, sports, and reading.
Tiffani is married to her high school sweetheart and is a mama of two, 1 daughter and 1 son! She also has a great dane and two yorkies! She loves to read, craft, and water-ski, as well as do ANYTHING her family is doing except dirt bike(it scares her!)
