Forming relationships with my patients and watching their self-esteem and confidence grow when they have a better smile makes going to work fun! I couldnt imagine getting more enjoyment or satisfaction from any other profession.
In order to become an orthodontist, I first attained my Bachelor of Science in biology from Saint Louis University. Then I attended Southern Illinois University Alton School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Finally, I received my Master of Science in orthodontics from Saint Louis University.
Throughout my education, I have been distinguished for my studies. I was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and was honored to receive the Pierre Fauchard Award for Excellence in Dentistry. In addition, my masters thesis was published as a book!
Although my formal education is complete, I always strive to stay current on the latest technology and techniques. A continuing education is mandatory in my profession, but I always go above and beyond the minimum amount of hours required per year. I know that in order to ensure my patientsreceivethe best services available, I must always keep up with emerging methods that are applicable to my practice.
Im a kid at heart! I am always able to relate to our younger patients, and enjoy getting to know our adult patients as well. I love getting to know my patients and becoming their friend, rather than just their orthodontist!
My profession is fun, challenging, and very rewarding. There is nothing better than seeing a persons self-confidence improve because of their smile! I am honored that our patients trust me with the health of their mouth, and the beauty of their smile. I always enjoy seeing their faces light up with the joy their new smile brings!
Our office has a great time! We always have good music playing, and host contests to participate in! Our patients enjoy our video game tournaments and fantasy sports! I even love to wear my Heelys to work! If you dont know what those are, ask your kids!
I am originally from Cincinnati, OH, and am a diehard Reds and Bengals fan. As an Air Force brat,Ilived in many different places.My family and I lived in Spain, England, California, Hawaii, Michigan, and Mississippi.
I have resided in OFallon for the past 20 years, and am proud to have raised my family here. I have three beautiful daughters named Audrey, Natalie, and Emily. In my spare time, I play golf, video games, and bass guitar. I also brew my own beer and love going to concerts!

I did a lot of research to find the best place for my kids to do their teeth treatment and I am so glad I choose Dr. Kunsemiller, he is just an amazing professional and very kind with my kids. The staff are very polite, very professional and very helpful I feel welcome when we go there. The place is very clean and smell so good coffee is also so delicious

Very clean professional establishment. Short wait times and very friendly staff. Has the "we are happy to service you" environment. Services both children and adults. I am extremely satisfied with the service I receive. Dr. Kunsemiller is happy to talk with you and educate you on dental care. Very satisfied customer.

Never have to wait. Short adjustments get me in and out. Very happy with the progress my teeth are making so far. Dr Jeff is definitely an artist in his field. Due to my lack of wearing retainers, I had to get braces on again. Dr Jeff is making quick work of undoing the mess I made. Also, the staff is very friendly and always so polite. The office is also very clean and they have taken COVID very seriously.

Dr. K assured me that braces would fix my daughter's open bite... it didn't. Moved and saw a new orthodontist... turns out she has a jaw abnormality which requires braces plus surgery to fix. Dr. K should have recognized (as any orthodontist should be able to) that the problem was more than just her teeth. So we wasted our money and now we have to pay for a second set of braces to actually fix the problem. Probably fine for just plain braces when there are no other things going on.

Great staff, great facility, great Orthodontist!! They get you in and out so fast and are always flexible with appointments in you need to have something repaired. Super friendly!! Both of my kids have amazing smiles!!
