Dr. Emily Johnson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she received a Bachelors Degree in Biology at the University of Arizona in 2015. She continued her studies and received a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona in 2019. After dental school, Dr. Emily was passionate about learning more about providing care for pediatric patients and patients with medical and behavioral complexities. With this passion for pediatric care, Dr. Emily started her pacific northwest adventure after matching at the NYU Langone Hospital pediatric residency program in Yakima, WA. During her time in residency, she was selected to complete a supplemental training program called Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Through this program, and with mentorship from her on-site faculty in Yakima, Dr. Emily received extensive training on the treatment of patients with special health care needs. Dr. Emily is passionate about addressing the oral health needs for all types of pediatric patients in this beautiful area. She looks forward to providing great dental care, building positive dental experiences for your little ones, and getting to know each of you and your families.
Dr. Sani earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating with Honors. He then completed a year long General Practice Residency (GPR) program in Brooklyn at New York University Langone. Dr. Sani worked as a general dentist in the Seattle area for one year and then continued his education in New York at Maimonides Medical Center where he completed a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty program. Dr. Sanis love of the Pacific Northwest brought him back and he has specialized in pediatric dentistry here ever since. Dr. Sani enjoys traveling, playing soccer, hiking, snowboarding, and playing the guitar.
Dr. Jumani was born and raised in India. He was inspired at an early age to become a dentist and worked summer jobs at his general dentist and orthodontists office. He would fill out charts and help with odd jobs and over the years, he had the opportunity to get to know the dentists very well. He loved the impact they had on their patients lives.
While living in India, Dr. Jumani obtained his dental degree and practiced dentistry for two years. He then came to the U.S. and earned a Masters Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Upon graduation, he became an Associate Facultyin the Department of International Health, working for the Institute for Vaccine Safety.
Given his love for clinical dentistry, Dr. Jumani chose to return to dental school and attended the University of Washington to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduating he continued and earned his Master of Science in Dentistryin Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington.
For him, the best part of his profession is to have the pleasure of treating little kids and watching them grow, evolve, and mature over time. He truly enjoys creating a bond with his patients and their families. Dr. Jumani met his wife in dental school, Shreya Jumani, who is also a practicing dentist, and in his free time, loves being outdoors, hiking, traveling, skiing and running.
Dr. Katie received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Through volunteering in local schools and with children residing in a nearby homeless shelter, Dr. Katie realized that to her, every day spent working with children was a good day. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she received extensive training in treating children with complex medical and behavioral needs. Dr. Katie is a Board-Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and continues to educate herself on the most current techniques to provide the safest and best quality care for her patients. In her free time, Dr. Katie loves baking and cooking, exercising, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, reading, and hitting the tennis courts.
