My mother always smiled. For most of her life, she also had crooked teeth. About the time that I was in college, she finally got them fixed. No, she didnt get braces, instead she got a dental bridge which finally gave her straight front teeth. I am pretty sure that is one of the greatest gifts she ever gave herself. She did not need perfect teeth to smile, she smiled by default. Her personality assured that she would share her joy of life and gratitude with a smile. Yet, when she was able to get her teeth fixed, it magnified her irrepressible love for all of lifes amazement. Her smile was another of those lessons in life only moms can teach.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies depending on several factors includingtreatment methodand how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. Receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time in children.

Dr Kuhlberg and their staff are extremely nice and professional in taking care of dental issues. I have done my kids braces here. They used to decorate nicely their office in different season too.

Dr. Kuhlberg and his group are incredibly kind and genuinely care about your goals. I have worked with Dr. Kuhlberg since I was in 7th grade, and although years have elapsed, I was quickly reminded of his generosity, kindness, and family friendly staff. He was very resourceful and patient as we worked through various accomodations to meet my goals.

Kuhlberg Orthodontics is THE place to go if you need the best orthodontic treatment. My son's orthodontic treatment has been a very long journey. He started his treatment with Dr Kuhlberg after moving to Avon five years ago from out of state where his treatment had already started. Dr Kuhlberg and his friendly staff have been wonderful in providing the best treatment and care for my son. My son's severe overbite problem was corrected and he now has a beautiful smile! Thank you Dr Kuhlberg and your wonderful staff for the great service!

Even more notable than Dr. Kuhlberg's extensive professional accomplishments is the atmosphere that his office extends. The welcoming and friendly staff seem happy to see you. They speak on all topics making adults and children all feel comfortable. A trip to the dentist or orthodontist is usually a chore - but Dr. Kulhberg's office actually feels like a pleasant stop in the day. We have one adult and two children receiving orthodontia here, each with a very different presentation. Dr. Kuhlberg met our individual needs without ever pushing for unnecessary early treatments or more that what we were seeking. I couldn't recommend this practice more.

I can't say enough good things about this office. I had protrusion and a terrible gap, and thought my teeth were beyond fixing. Dr Kuhlberg did an incredible job on my teeth, and gave me the confidence I've always wanted. He was always very thorough and explained every step of the process. I'm so grateful to him and his wonderful staff!
