As someone who grew up very afraid of the dentist and have been to many to find one that would help my fears- DR MAH IS THE BEST. I've waiting till teeth were excruciating before going to the dentist with others due to my feae. I have had root canals from other dentist where I was in pain the whole time, and have had teeth pulled by dr Mah under normal numbing without a single pain or worry. I am no longer afraid of the dentist and never have anxiety attacks going to his office. At times the wait times are long, this is a dentist who CARES. Is your appointment is a 30minute check-up and you express discomfort or pain in a tooth- most times he will fix it. This causes longer wait times for patients after. I have learned to think of others as well when I am waiting- that if the wait for my appointment is taking longer- someone else needed a longer visit and needed help. Also you can always call before your appointment to check on how the wait time is. Staff is always very friendly.

All these other reviews about wait time is trash when I make an appointment I expect to wait. The staff is always nice and the wait time is usually fast. Dr. Mah is very good at his profession. I suggest if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it

Went in for teeth cleaning. I was there for 2 hours and They DID NOT CLEAN MY TEETH. No hygienist on duty, only dental assistants. The dentist hand scraped my teeth for 2-3 minutes then used pumice with a rotary brush. He said he had left the attachments for the cleaning apparatus at his "other office" Literally no difference from when I arrived. I could have done a more through job on myself. If they have billed my insurance - it is fraud!

My husbands appointment was at 11am and he got looked at around 12:50pm. My appointment was at 12pm and I got looked at 1:50pm and finished at 2:30pm. They made me wait in the chair for much longer and only went to me after I complained that I've been waiting hours. I do not understand the professionalism behind this establishment. It's either bc the dentist talks too much and too slow or bc the receptionists keep over booking. If the office is running behind, they can at least have the courtesy to call their patients in advanced to let them know. I have been to many dentists around the world and this is by far the worst dentist. Not to mention the dentist is a bit offensive.

The doctor is amazing when ot comes to working on your teeth but I find it ridiculous that I'm waiting 2-3 hours everytime I go there just to be seen and then another 1 1/2 just for them to start working on my teeth.om very patient but this seems to happen to me everytime I go there. I've also had to reschedule appointments more then 3 times already due to them having me wait hours.

I love them they are so nice and feel like family I would highly recommend people to come here! There may be a long wait cause there are other patients who need to be worked upon as well! Worth the wait dr. Mah does an amazing job and makes you feel comfortable so does the nurses!

If you enjoy waiting in the waiting room for over an hour every time, this is the place to go. There are many other dentists in the area where this is not the problem. I came here with someone for their appointment. I was looking for a new dentist. After waiting for him for well over an hour to even go back and after speaking with others in the waiting room, I realized this was defiently not the place for me.

Best dentist ever. Takes time to explain both condition of tooth and options . Always caring and understanding. This is the only dentist I truly trust . I couldn't believe there were bad reviews because dr. Mah is who I would recommend to any one. Hands down . -quality work - good work ethic - concern for patients/emergency appointments - detail oriented - takes his tim to explain - staff and dentist are super nice - family environment.

I hate going to the dentist. I really hate it and will go years between visits. I had a really great experience here. The dentist is kind and knowledgeable and really takes time to explain what he is doing and why there are problems. He spent a long time to address any concerns. His staff was also really nice. It was easy to make an appointment as well. Being a healthcare professional myself... it's about trust and I do trust and respect the dentist. Glad to have found this place!

Reading the reviews left for Dr. Meh and his staff made me furious! I moved here from Colorado 6 months ago. My first week here one of my fillings fell out. I was scared and knew it would be difficult to find someone I trust but I did. Dr. Meh and his staff are some of the kindest people I have met. Dr. Meh has taken really good care of me and my teeth. He always gets me in when I have an emergency (because it seems like all my fillings decided to fall out) He does excellent work. He is a very generous and kind person and a very qualified dentist. I feel like people always take time to complain but will rarely take the time to compliment a professional. That is obvious from the reviews that have been put here. I moved to Kona but I still make the two hour drive to Kuhio Dental. I did today and once again, love and appreciate everyone who works there. I highly recommend and sincerely trust Dr. Meh and his staff. Mahalo! Melanie A.
