Dr. Kruyer graduated cum laude from Marquette University School of Dentistry. After dental school she was the honor graduate of her one-year residency during which she received additional training in all areas of dentistry. In 2006, she was granted Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentists. In addition to running her own private practice, Dr. Kruyer is an adjunct professor at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kruyer served one year in Kuwait and Iraq. During her stay, she experienced sandstorms, pneumonia, scorpions, camel spiders, IED's, mortar fire, and extreme heat (150 F++... and we thought Vegas was hot!). She practiced dentistry in primitive conditions (including surgical extraction of bony-impacted wisdom teeth) using a portable dental chair. Dr. Kruyer said her most lasting memories of Iraq are of the people, especially the children.
Dr. Kruyer is the mother of six wonderful children: Tynica, Jonathan, Teresia, Anica, Iysha (passed away in 2009), and Tia. She knows firsthand the trials parents face when trying to teach children how to take care of their teeth.

Kruyer Dental is amazing! Dr Kruyer is a phenomenal specialist, dentist that's skilled to perfection. She's like no other. Her passion for making sure the job is done correctly goes beyond words. It's my first time getting a check up and work done at the office, and so far everything has been great. The staff is friendly and pleasant to work with, they explain everything clearly, and they demonstrate knowledge and skill in everything they do, which helps relax someone like me who has not been to the dentist for many years.

If you are looking for a one stop shop dentist! This is the perfect place! I highly recommend Kruyer Dental for you and your families dental needs. I was so grateful to have finally found a dentist in Las Vegas, Nevada that cares about her patients needs. The office is clean and very inviting. The office staff is friendly and helpful! Christy is so nice - if you ever get the chance to meet her, you're sure to love her all the same. She makes sure you are taken care of even after you have left the office. She calls to make sure you are doing good and addresses any concerns you have. If you call the office - she sees to it that Dr. Kruyer calls you back in a timely manner. The entire staff is wonderful! From the Hygienists, to the dental assistants, and everyone who works there. They are all kind and helpful, they explain everything before they do it. Courtney & Peter were great! Makes going to the dentist a positive experience then a negative experience. I am actually looking forward to see what new changes my mouth, will have in the coming days, weeks and months ahead! I have had a wonderful experience every time I have gone to Dr. Kruyer's office. The staff is amazing and super efficient. I have been on the Invisalign Program as of last year and I am loving the progression I see. Dr. Kruyer has been my dental home for well over a decade and she is truly the BEST!!!!!
