Because it has never really been practical to implement into your practice due to the need for another surgical site from the patient. The Smart Dentin Grinder has changed this.

The Smart Dentin Grinder from Kometa Bio is an innovative solution to practically create autogenous dentin graft from extracted teeth. It allows you to convert extracted teeth into bacteria-free particulate dentin ready for use in minutes.

Although dentists usually make every effort to preserve natural teeth, sometimes an extraction is necessary to remove decayed, damaged or otherwise problematic teeth. Although the procedure is best performed in an oral surgeons office, it is considered surgery. Depending on which teeth are removed, they may be replaced with a dental implants or another oral prosthetic.

The most common cause of tooth extractions is severe tooth decay and cavities. However, many patients also undergo extractions for impacted teeth particularly wisdom teeth. Other causes for extraction include advanced periodontal disease, cracked teeth, and teeth that are severely malformed. Although many circumstances that require extraction are unavoidable, some could be prevented with regular visits to the dentist for exams and cleanings.

The Krupp Center will provide the safest, most comfortable extraction procedure possible. Even though many fear getting their wisdom teeth removed, at the Krupp Center you can expect considerate, efficient dental care from our team every time.

Only your dentist can tell you if you need a tooth extraction. However, you may be a candidate for the procedure if one or more of your teeth are decayed so severely that a filling or other restoration is not a possibility for treatment.

If you and your dentist decide to extract one or more teeth, you will be scheduled for oral surgery with the Krupp Center. You will be given a local anesthetic to prevent pain during the procedure, and you may be prescribed medications to help manage pain in the hours following your extraction. Depending on the nature of your extraction and other factors, such as whether your teeth are impacted, you may also be sedated or given general anesthesia during your procedure.

Post-operative care following a tooth extraction is essential for healing and preventing complications. You will be instructed to avoid certain foods and also keep the surgical site clean at all times. If you are prescribed an antibiotic, it is important that you complete the course of treatment to prevent infection. Finally, you may be advised to avoid smoking or drinking through a straw, as doing so may delay the healing process and cause a condition known as dry socket.

Dr Krupp and his staff are amazing! I am 7 months pregnant and had 4 wisdom teeth pulled all at once, they made me feel extremely comfortable and even had me laughing through out the procedure. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their wisdom teeth extracted! He was also very quick with getting them removed.

Okay! Consultation, and two extractions in a little under an hour at a phenomenal price! They accepted my CA based insurance, everyone was really comforting, assuring, nice and I believe her name is Kathy, she's a tech there she was truly the support I needed, she personally understood my pain, she explained it for me in reality and DR KRUPP, he's the man!!! I haven't been to his office in over 10 years and his work is just as clean, FAST and comforting as I remembered. He's truly talented to pull two teeth in under 5 mins, minimal pain more so pressure. Today is day two since my extractions and I feel good! I can talk normal, mouth doesn't hurt as much, (taking my meds) but anytime ibuprofen can fix my pains and just that, you did something special! I'd love to come back to discuss cosmetic dentistry because I need it!!! Thanks everyone! Hope this review helps others

Got 2 broken wisdom teeth removed here, in and out in a half hour, no pain just a bunch of pressure as usual. 100% recommend them to do yours if you need to get your wisdom teeth removed as well.

Dr. Krupp is a straight forward down to earth gentlemen. From his staff. Sherry, Cathy, Amanda and Diana and everyone else, they are truly caring and professional . My experience was excellent and I love my new teeth. They are beautiful and you can't tell that they are not real. I get so many compliments on my smile. I would recommend Dr. Krupp and his staff for any needs you may have . I can't thank them enough for all they have done for me. Best regards Sandy Whittington

I had the worst experience. I called to set up an appointment and got the most rude and nasty "Samantha" receptionist. I attempted to contact the office manager to speak with them but no call back. Can't imagine a professional dentistry office employee someone like this.

Sherry and Dr. Krupp were amazing and so patient with me. I came in immediately anxious and upset about the procedure due to a huge fear of anything dental related. Sherry did everything in her power to reassure me, calm me down, and make me laugh. Even though I was somewhat of a nightmare patient, they got my procedure done quickly and calmly and I'm so grateful!

Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr Krupp and his whole staff. I have had a mental dental phobia for 60 years and to say it was overcome by the doc and his staff is an understatement. Highly recommended, the absolute best experience I have had . Have no fear he and his staff will make it pleasant.

Had a very pleasant visit to have a wisdom tooth removed! I was in the office for less then 1 hour, the actual removal was under 5 minutes. While I only spoke to Dr. Krupp shortly he was very kind and the tech who was with me the whole time was super sweet and reassuring. I will definitely be back to the office when I'm ready to have my other wisdom teeth out!

I have no complaints. At the consultation I was able to get all of my questions answered and I got a good idea of what the procedure (wisdom tooth removal) would be like. Nurses and Dr. Krupp were very respectful on the day of surgery and they had great bedside manners. The hardest part of the surgery was the novacaine shots, which felt like a strong pinch. Getting 4 wisdom teeth out in less than 15 minutes is surprising, but Dr. Krupp got it done. Post-op instructions were clear and easy to understand, and on day 2 after surgery, I feel little pain and recovery's going on just fine. I would recommend Dr. Krupp and his team to anybody that needs to get their wisdom teeth extracted.

Any questions I had were addressed clearly. The atmosphere was a very friendly one, causing me to feel at ease, and make my final decision to proceed with their suggestions. I also spoke to two relatives who had similar procedures by Dr Krupp, and were extremely happy with the results. His staff are very nice and efficient(and patient)!Ps: Diana is GREAT !

I really don't know where the negative reviews came from. I guess everyone has unique experiences. I went to get my wisdom teeth pulled today. I was very nervous and anxious to have this procedure done. Trisha, who took me back and was with me the whole time, was amazing. She gave me all the info I needed and answered all my questions. She was also very friendly and genuine. I had laughing gas, and they did leave the topical agent on me for long enough(at least ten minutes), not sure about what other reviewers were saying. When Dr Krupp came to give me the numbing injections, it was an unpleasant feeling, but I mean, there's no way to avoid that. He was very professional and he did a great job administering it as it was done very quickly. (Trisha was also amazing during this process, she didn't leave my side and was very comforting). The actual extractions were painless, and over in 8 minutes. Only 8 minutes!!! In my experience everyone was very well-informed and patient, with great bedside manner. Thanks to everyone at Dr Krupps office. I would definitely go here again if I needed any other work done.

Very friendly staff. From the moment you check in to your exit everybody is always helpful and courteous. For exams and prep you are given all the information you need to make the decision on procedures that will meet your needs. Or at least know which alternative measures to go with. All in all great experience. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone who needs detailed dental care.
