Founded in 1981 by Dr. Deana Paulsen Bender, our practice has been an integral part of the business district of downtown Kansas City, Missouri for over 35 years. Dr. Bruso joined the office in 1992, where he and Dr. Bender practiced successfully together for 10 years until Dr. Benders retirement in 2002. At that time, Dr. Bruso became the sole proprietor of the practice and has enjoyed being a part of the revitalization of the downtown community. In 2012, a year long expansion and entire facility upgrade was completed. The new space allows Dr. Bruso and his staff to provide patients with the highest quality care in a comfortable, state of the art clinical setting.
Part of our responsibility as dental professionals is to educate patients about what plan of action is going to be in their best interest for a lifetime of good dental health. We want to provide the most effective treatment option for each individual patient. This requires using the highest quality materials, products and dental laboratory technicians to achieve the desired end result. Our attention to detail, level of care, and personalized service is what makes our office unique.

Please do not go to Dr. Bruso. He is horrible. I went to him and he had old me I needed work done that I did not need. He left me in the chair for a long time after shooting me with Novacaine. He went to do another client teeth and left me in the chair and the Novacaine wore off. He stated all I can just give you more after leaving me in the chair with my mouth open for a good 35-45 minutes. Like yeah give me another hurtful shot and walk away again. My mouth was in agony - so painful for about a month. He told me I needed filling on teeth that had a filling already. He even cracked my teeth in the back trying to get the old filing out. I'm going to make a complaint against him against his license.I went to a new dentist and he assured me that I did not need any filing removed and refilled. This dentist is a used car sales man. Go at your own risk. Check out the other reviews this dentist is unethical and only trying to dig into your pocketbook just to support his lifestyle in his rent and bills.

They are amazing! I happened to be looking for a new dentist since I moved to a new town and found Dr. Brush through Google reviews. I can confirm the great reviews ;) Staff is very friendly and attentive since the minute you walked in. Anne is so flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments. (I have a crazy schedule due to my work.) Their office is impeccable! Ale

This team is so kind and ready to help! I chipped my tooth and the same day I got in and was able to be booked for the next day to get it fixed. Super happy and grateful for this wonderful team!

Not only do they do a great job on my teeth, but they have a gorgeous, clean & convenient downtown office! After moving my family to the city, they adopted my two little girls as new patients & are so kind, helpful & understanding with them as they are very young, which I'd presume is less common at their office. Reception went out of their way to pick up little post-appt treasures just for them! Dr. Bruso is hilarious & great w/ them as well, their office even texts personally about scheduling etc. which is so nice & convenient!

Dr. Bruso and his staff are amazing, they are super friendly and welcoming. My smile is everything to me and I'm so thankful I found Dr. Bruso. He was able to fix my smile right away, and I haven't stopped smiling since i left their office. 10/10

I normally don't write up google reviews, but I need to share that I love Dr. B's office. Very talented staff. I always get right in the chair without waiting, and I'm in and out the door in about 45 minutes. Extremely friendly, professional crew that provides excellent hospitality and service. I moved about 20 minutes further away from this location a couple of years ago but I'm more than willing to still make the trip.

When it comes to being a patient, I am the definition of the worst. I had to have a tooth extracted, and I had a lot of anxiety over the anticipation of the appointment. That anxiety caused me to cancel the appointment many times. As we all know, when appointments are cancelled, it can mess up your whole day. Regardless of the many inconveniences I caused Dr. Bruso and the staff with my cancellations, they remained so kind and professional throughout the entire process. The day of the tooth extraction, Dr. Bruso and his assistant were so kind and understanding of my anxiety. This was a pretty extreme operation, but I didn't feel a thing! Dr. Bruso made sure to numb me correctly, and explained everything as he did the procedure. The assistant continued to ask me if I was ok throughout the procedure. I couldn't believe how easy the procedure ended up being. 5 stars! This place truly is AMAZING!!

Hi my name is Lane Adam's not Madison. I dont know why its showing that. ANYway Dr Brusso was able to straighten and fix all my front and bottom teeth after years of neglect. I actually am smiling again. HE has love devotion and patience of a Saint. I live in Baton Rouge and travel to him because he is the best out there. I urge travelers who have emergencies while vacationing to let his magic hands take away your pain. If there were 10stars he would have them all. Plus wonderful staff as well.

I was referred to Dr.Bruso by a friend when I let her know I had a dentist appt. coming up. She told me to cancel it and come to Dr.Bruso instead and I am so glad she convinced me to! It is downtown KC and they have a parking garage that provides free parking. From the garage it is a little tricky to find the office, there are multiple catwalks from building to building, stairs and elevators that you have to use to get there. I had to call the office on my way to my appt. and they were able to talk me though where to go. The office is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful and actually care. They have your best interest in mind, they are very informative and are very understanding. I will turn any friend looking for a dentist in his direction. I broke a tooth and they were able to make it look like nothing happened! His dental assistant Jessica O. was very nice and careful while working with me as well. I look forward to continuing my visits with Dr.Bruso!

Amazing doctor, and a great staff! They were all very flexible and extremely helpful in my time of dire need. I walked in to their office with the mother of all toothaches due to a bad infection. If there is a worse place than hell, I was in it. After a thorough exam and subsequent root canal, I walked out of there a new man! I would have hugged and kissed every last one of that great staff if it were socially acceptable. I can't thank them enough. 10 stars!!
