Dr. Kristi Soileau is one of the kindest, intelligent, and patient doctors I have ever experienced. She is clearly an expert in her field. When you're with her, you feel as if you're the only person in her world. She make sure that all of your questions are answered, and thoroughly explains what's going on with every tooth in your mouth! I have a huge amount of anxiety getting dental work done, but after several visits, it's clear that her experience and her staff are all top notch. I can't imagine seeing anyone else.

DO NOT GO HERE. The Dr. is very kind. However her receptionist will make mistakes and you'll end up paying for them. I cancelled my appointment due to moving back to CA well within the cancellation window and now I am being charged a missed appointment fee. I even tried to call and rectify the situation with Megan (manager) and she was unpleasant and didn't take responsibility for the mistakes of her employee.

I was recommended Dr. Soileau when I moved to NOLA a year ago by my then periodontist in DC. I am so grateful for that recommendation because I feel that I have found the best. The office and staff is so friendly and professional, but more importantly, Dr. Soileau is highly knowledgeable and her first concern is to not only care for my teeth, gums, and overall health, but also to teach me the best self care between visits.

I initially was recommended to this office (by my dentist, Dr. Camenzuli) for surgery on my upper gums following having braces put on. This was in 2016 and I had Metlife for insurance. The office staff immediately checked me in and explained that I needed additional x-rays done to determined the full-scope of the procedure needed. They also provided an itemized financial statement following the x-rays stating that the surgery would cost a little over $1100. At that time I declined surgery. Fast-forward a year later and I am told by Dr.Camezuli again to visit Soileau as he believes my gaps will reopen if I do not have the surgery on my gums before he removes my braces. I explain to him my problems with the cost and he states that since my insurance has updated, I should see if I can get a reduced cost. I was escorted over to Soileau's office where the receptionist explained to me that my new insurance would potentially cover more, but with having the insurance (since they were in-network) I would receive a reduced cost of $497 total, regardless of insurance coverage. i was told that I would have to submit a down payment of 137$ and that the office would file my claim and notify me if the remaining balance was outstanding (not covered) I went in, had my surgery 12/22/17, went for a f/u 1/7/18 and never heard anything about a bill until I get a notice on 7/4/18 stating that I owed $1153 and that I should call the office immediately to prevent my account from going into collections. I show up to the office with my original financial agreement and was greeted (using that lightly) by the unfriendly desk clerk/collections manager. i explained that I am frustrated seeing that no one has provided any prior notices or calls alerting me of an outstanding balance IN ADDITION to presenting the original financial agreement and the new bill. After pulling my folder the piss poor representative told me that the insurance did not cover the costs. I then asked for the number to the claims dept for the insurance to which she responded, "it should be on the back of your card". I tell her that if its of inconvenience that she provides me with the number (which is a standard procedure in customer friendly doctor's offices) I can get it off the card but I wanted it at the moment to verify that the claim was submitted. She then sits back at her computer and states "well if was submitted to Metlife but you aren't insured by them so you need to pay your balance". i then tell her that I had provided the office with my updated insurance and that they failed to file it with the updated insurance. She then proceeds to tell me to file it myself or pay the balance to which I respond I will not be paying anything bc the office failed to file with the correct company and that she should re-file the claim to the correct company. she states she will not do it unless I pay the balance. I asked her several times to explain why I should pay for them to file a claim that they had already agreed to file to which she responded, "that is a curtosey to our patients and I am not doing it". I then remind her that this is a mistake on the office's behalf and that I feel that she is refusing to file the claim for personal reasons and has a poor attitude. She then states "no you have an attitude and that is why I am not filing it". I then asked to speak with someone else, to which she responded, "no, you can not speak to anyone else, you can pay your balance." I reinterate that I am not going to pay a balance that may very well be covered by insurance esp seeing as to the office's obvious mistake of filing a claim with the wrong company. She then gets out of her seat and tells the second receptionists, "she's not understanding me". She then runs back to Soileau and comes back curtly stating that they would meet after work and determine how to proceed. I have never experience anything like this from a doctor's office and will do my best in informing people not to patronize this business. Beyond poor customer service the whole experience was traumatic.

She is the most thorough and professional dentist I've ever been to and the most thorough healthcare professional for that matter. She takes the time to explain all options to the patient and has a wealth of knowledge. She monitors her patients closely, follows-up closely with them after surgery and answers all questions. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

When it comes to Dr. Soileau, she is hands-down the most knowledgeable and kind doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She was kind and within minutes of talking to her, I could see that she l was clearly an subject matter expert in her field. She sat with me and explained the procedure, and why I needed it, and spent as long with me as I needed to make me feel comfortable about the procedure. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I really felt like she cared about my recovery, and was available at all hours of the day in case I needed to call with a question. Her expertise in this field was even clearer to me when I went through my recovery, as I experienced almost non-existent pain and swelling from the procedure. I accredit that to her excellent work in performing the surgery and her knowledge base on the subject. Her staff was warm and incredibly welcoming, and her office was clean and very inviting as well. I would recommend Dr. Soileau to my closest family and friends, as I have never had a better experience! Thank you Dr. Soileau!

Dr. Soileau and her staff has mastered the formula for perfection!!!! They deliver the HIGHEST standard of care to each and every patient, plus Dr. Soileau's passion for her field of dentistry is readily apparent. From the very first telephone encounter to the final follow-up appointment, their level of commitment is simply astounding. For the patients who fear dental procedures, please know Dr. Soileau delivers on her promise for a painless procedure! A++ for this practice. I applaud her staff as well for their friendliness, you could tell this office enjoyed working together. The doctor was over the top fabulous with her bedside manner and attention to detail. The extra effort makes such a difference when you are stressed about healthcare decisions and costs involved. I wish other healthcare professionals would take the time/and or effort to care like this practice.

I've been going to Dr. Soileau and her team for 8 years. They are always very kind and attentive, and make sure to explain every procedure and process. Their friendly and professional nature makes my appointments so much more enjoyable. I moved to Asia 2 years ago, but whenever I'm back in New Orleans for a visit, I always schedule an appointment!

I began seeing Dr. Soileau in 1989 or about 30 years ago. I was 33 and was referred by Dr. Nelson in Metairie. Since then, I've seen her about 60 times so obviously I am a devoted patient and the strongest advocate for Dr. Soileau and her terrific staff of professionals. I've lived in Florida, North Carolina and Texas (four times) since 1989 and I will always come back to New Orleans every six months to see her because it is that important. I did try one other periodontist in Florida many years ago but after my initial visit with him, I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Soileau and will never go to another periodontist again. Dr. Soileau and her staff are professional at all times, thorough, caring, friendly and will take the time to explain and help with any procedure I might have. She has always shown she cares about my health, my kids (who were just 4 and 1 when I started with her...now they are grown and I have a grandchild), my work and anything else in my life. I mentioned she is thorough. When it comes to the actual job, Dr.Soileau knows everything about my gums and teeth that there is to know. She takes no shortcuts and has charted everything...for 30 years! ...it's a large file. She can tell me everything about my progress since I've been a patient. It proves her dedication to her profession and to her patients. She is, by far, the most helpful, knowledgeable, dedicated doctor in any field, I have ever had. So, thank you, Dr. Nelson for recommending Dr. Soileau. I can't thank you enough, Dr. Soileau, for taking care of me for the last 30 years and hopefully the next 30. Now if I can just get her to call me by my first name, Pat, instead of Mr. Linch...I've been working on that for 30 years. By the way, did I mention that after 30 years of seeing Dr. Soileau and her wonderful staff, I still have all my teeth and my gums are stronger now than they've ever been? What she does, works! It doesn't matter where I live (right now, it's Austin, TX) I will always visit her every six months. She's the best periodontist you could ever have. Period.

Dr. Khristi Soileau and her team are a class act and a well-oiled machine. The office staff, hygienists and Dr. Soileau herself make periodontal care worry free and actually pleasant. My teeth and gums haven't been this healthy or felt so good in years. Dr Soileau is professional, personable and thorough. If she refers you to another dental specialist for treatment, that person will be up to her standard of care. Highly highly recommended!
