As a child, Dr. Krider had a great experience with her Orthodontist, and has been interested in the art and science of dentistry ever since. The Krider Dental team is hard-working, detail-oriented, and ready to help whenever needed. Dr. Heidi Krider is a graduate of Hanover College and Indiana University School of Dentistry. She moved back to the area to join the practice that she now owns. Dr. Krider has learned a lot through her experiences in dentisty. She recognizes the importance of listening to her patients and the value of understanding each persons desire for their dental health. She believes that a healthy, beautiful smile can change a life.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Krider loves to spend time with her husband, Brian, and her two boys, Tobey and Elijah. Together, they enjoy outdoor projects at home, biking, camping, golfing, and playing at the lake. Brian and Heidi are thankful for the many blessings in their lives and have chosen to give back through service in their church and giving to various charitable organizations.
Dr. Trok graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1975 and has rigorously pursued an active post-graduate study program at the prestigious L D Pankey Institute in Miami, FL. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Trok was a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. From 1970 to 1972, John was a teaching assistant at the L D Pankey Institute.
Dr. Trok has also been active in organized dentistry. He is past-president of the PA Seventh District Dental Society and chaired the Dental Health and Health Planning Committee from 1989 to 1991. Some of his professional memberships include ADA, IDA, Academy of General Dentistry, and the L D Pankey Alumni Association.
Johns number one responsibility to every patient is to listen to their concerns, which in turn leads to an exchange of ideas. This give-and-take approach helps develop trusting relationships that encourage people to share values, identify problems, take ownership, and make appropriate treatment decisions. Communication is the key to understanding. Dr. Trok enjoys a patient-centered practice, where the care provided is comprehensive, personalized, quality-centered and highly service-oriented.
On a more personal note, Dr. Trok volunteers at the Matthew 25 Dental Clinic in Fort Wayne as well as the Pro Papa Missions in Honduras, where he performs routine oral surgery procedures. He is married to Deborah, has two daughters, Jennifer and Julie, and currently resides in Fort Wayne. Johns favorite activities include fly tying and fishing, gardening, woodworking, jewelry making, and religious education at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
The cost of fine, preventative dental care is a concern for most patients. I recently had an issue with a corner breaking off of a rear tooth. I contacted Dr Krider and explained the situation and she got me in very, very quickly to examine. Then Dr Trok went to work and did the tooth restoration within two(2) days!! Wow! I have had great success with Dr Krider and Dr Trok in the past and they did not fail to deliver this time either! In my personal opinion, these folks are the best and I am very grateful for the skillset that God Himself has obviously given them. Wholesome, godly music playing in the background, kind professionals, experts in the field. What more could one ask for. What a blessing. Thank you Dr Krider & Dr Trok! May The Lord abundantly bless you both and your staff.

Excellent experience for both my son and I. All the staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable and helpful. Will be returning and as a self pay can't beat there prices. Highly recommended to anyone with dental needs.

Dr. Krider and her staff were wonderful. My children (4 & 3) and I came in at 7:30 am and the staff was warm and welcoming. With it being my children's first dentist appointment they came away excited and encouraged to take care of their teeth and were ready to go back the next day. Recommend 100%!

Dr. Krider's office always kept everything top notch clean and sanitized before the Covid19 virus. After a visit during the pandemic, I didn't think it possible to be any more sanitary, but they have outdone themselves to make it an extremely safe environment. These people are the real deal, they genuinely care. I, like most people, hated going to the dentist. They have redefined "seeing the dentist". I don't dread it anymore, they make it so easy and comfortable.

I just went for a consultation but I can tell you I have never met nicer people in a dentist's office. I was leery to even go because I need dentures and felt self-conscious. They didn't make me feel anything but welcome and cared for. Dr. Trok explained everything and answered any questions I had. No dentist has ever really taken the time to do that. The only downside (and I wouldn't really call it a downside) is that I have to go to an oral surgeon to get my teeth removed, but I trust that the surgeon they suggested will be just as amazing. It's odd to say this about a dentist's office but I can't wait to go back!

Excellent service by Dental Technician and Dr. Krider in removing two crowns to prep for temporary and permanent bridge to cover the two molars and the space between where a molar had to be extracted.

We are a very holistic family and Dr. Krider did an amazing job! She was extremely patience and kind, especially with me having my two youngest children with me. I would highly recommend her. I haven't met a dentist with such great bedside manners before. We loved our visit and my children can't stop talking about what they learned there.

I've had terrible experiences at many other dentists. The Krider crew went above and beyond with their thoroughness in the procedure and making sure I was comfortable at all times. The nitrous option was very helpful for my anxiety.

Loni is literally THE BEST dental hygienist EVER!! She is the most thorough while also being extremely gentle! I know my teeth are CLEAN when I leave. Dr Krider is literally the only dentist I will go to since she started doing my dental work almost 20 years ago. She is the most gentle and compassionate dentist who always does what is best for her patients, even when it's not the most financially beneficial option for her. Dr. Krider and the hygienist that cared for my 89 Y.O. mother showed compassion and gentleness in treating her.
