Dr. Kevin Kremer is a second-generation dentist. His father, Dr. Darwin Kremer practiced dentistry in the small town of Los Molinos for 45 years. Kevin resides in Chico, CA with his wife and four children.
Dr. Kremer received his D.D.S. degree from UCLA. He was elected into the national dental honor society,Omicron Kappa Upsilonupon graduation. Kevin was a resident in the Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry during his senior year in Dental School, as well as a member in the Esthetic and Contemporary Restorative Dentistry residency. He also did research in the field of Oral Implantology while at UCLA.
After graduating from UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Kremer relocated to the Bay Area, where he practiced in San Jose and Sunnyvale. He moved back to Northern California in 1999, and he began practicing dentistry in Chico, CA since then.
I decided to pick what I thought were the best dental institutes in the country for Implant Dentistry and Aesthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and graduate from each of those institutes. The Misch International Implant Institute, and the prestigiousLas Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies are the schools I chose.

Really nicely run office with extremely helpful staff. I was very appreciative of Dr. Kremer's no-nonsense, frank, & forthright information regarding all of the available options. It appears its a very rare dentist who can just tell you the truth & not muddy up an appraisal of an individual's particular situation with unnecessary verbiage & spin. Dental work IS expensive, but I believe they do great work & give you proven results.
Before having extensive dental work performed, I decided to go to three dentists to get their opinions. Dr. Kremer gave me the most detailed plan along with a timeline. He and his staff are highly professional and kind. Dr. Kremer is gifted in his ability to do outstanding dental work. Don't waste your time going elsewhere.
Dr. Kevin McKinney is a General Dentist, Cosmetic Dentist and Family Dentist serving the Chico community. He places a strong emphasis on forming a connection with his patients, and loves helping people smile.
Dr. McKinney grew up in Orland, CA, the youngest of 3 children. Growing up, Dr. McKinney enjoyed swimming on the Orland Otters Swim Team, raising animals in 4-H, and spending time with family water skiing and horseback riding.
Dr. McKinney received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, then attained his D.D.S. degree from UC San Francisco. After graduating from UCSF School of Dentistry, Dr. McKinney relocated to our Glenbrook office where he first began practicing in the Chico area. Dr. McKinney has been a part of the Kremer Dental Care team since the beginning of 2016.

He is so kind and efficient and your teeth are going to thank you for trusting him. Associates, Miranda and Christin, are also wonderfully kind and careful. In addition, Stephanie cleaned my teeth till they sparkled without ever tempting me to bolt out of the chair and run for cover. The staff are incredibly professional and make you feel at ease. Dr. McKinney was very gentle in his procedures and very caring about how you are doing and that you are satisfied with the results. Stephanie is one of the most gentle dental hygienists that Ive been too. For anyone considering a dental practitioner and practice, I would not hesitate to recommend Kremer Dental.

Wonderful so far! Had first exam and the technology is so advanced and quick. They did a thorough exam for both myself and husband and laid out a plan for work. They put it all in a nice package with a bow on top. Pricing with our portion on insurance was reasonable and definitely affordable! Staff is warm, friendly and just plain nice! So far so good! Looking forward to smiling again, or more I should say! Thank you Kremer Dental for welcoming us so warmly!

Kremer Dental held Freedom Day 2022 for active military, veterans and their families. The staff are very patient friendly. From when I walked up without an appointment they worked to get me in. As I was driving away I got the phone call that they could start right away. From the staff handling incoming patients, you receive the most welcoming greetings that I ever had to a health facility. DA Nataly who did my cleaning and prep work was fantastic. Dr. McKinney came in and did a great job on identifying the work that needed to be done, a filling that I had from 1983 needing to be replaced. DA Nataly completed the prep work and is the nicest person you can have getting the plaque off my teeth. After that I was escorted to the Alaskan room to have my filling done by Dr. Azaria and her staff. They were able to remove the old filling and replace it with new one, I know that the great job they did that the new filling will still be good as new forty years from now. I want to thank the whole staff at Kremer Dental for taking care of all the active military, veterans and their families.

We love Kremer Dental Care. This is one of the best dental offices any where in the U.S. So happy they are in Chico. They feel like family when you come in. The dentists, assistants, and office staff are very helpful to answer questions and be of assistance with any of your concerns. They are awesome!

This place is seriously amazing. I drove down from Redding for an appt with Western Dental to have my tooth pulled, no time left to take at work and Western Dental had closed their office and not even bothered to call. The other office acted like I was crazy for being upset over this, and told me I would get in at 5pm and that would only be for x rays. They told me sorry you wasted your PSL and gas but what do you expect, it's not our fault. I didn't need X-rays and a full work up, I'd had that, my regular dentist just couldn't get me in until October. With the pain I was in I couldn't wait. upset and on the verge of tears I called Kremer Dental Care who not only got me in right away, and had time to pull the tooth, but they were caring and professional, the dentist is seriously AMAZING and I was treated like I was a person. I scheduled another appt and we're going to move our whole family here for care. The care and service from literally everyone at Kremer makes it worth the drive.

This was the WORST dental experience I have ever had. My wife and I cancelled our accounts and moved to another provider after one visit. We had cleaning appointments for several months and they called us in August to cancel our cleanings. The soonest they could reschedule us for for March of the next year! 8 months later. Not to mention they will bombard you with emails, texts and mailers to vote for them as the Best of Chico. Their customer service is horrendous, office is bizarrely decorated and the staff is unfriendly. Additionally the Kremer dentists don't even provide direct dental care. They have hired subcontractor dentists to work in the office. This is probably the main reason there is a huge disconnect between patient care and what is actually going on with this place. I would avoid this provider at all costs. Consider yourself warned.

Great first impression!!! May was so friendly and comforting. Loved the tour she provided to see the office and exam rooms and look forward to my future travels in the beautifully decorated rooms. Dr Choti was so warm, friendly and personable sharing stories and laughs. I love the interaction and explanation of the process. Patient centered care where I am informed and involved in the process and decisions. A dental office you look forward to visiting. Thank you for making me smile all day long.

So far as a new patient at Kremer dental, they have been my favorite dentist EVER. Not only were they kind and explained things thoroughly and answered all my questions patiently, they are very accommodating with a tight schedule.
