Dr. Glen R. and Dr. Dustin H. Kreitzberg would like to welcome you to our office. Ours is a new, beautiful, modern, private office utilizing the very latest state of the art equipment and technology. We strictly adhere to the infection control guidelines recommended by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control. These measures eliminate the risk of cross infection from dentist to patient, patient to dentist, or patient to patient. We heat sterilize our instruments and handpieces in the autoclave after each patient visit. When you come to this office you can be assured that your overall health and well-being are our top priority.
All of our exam rooms are equipped with televisions and intraoral cameras in order to ensure effective communication, helping to educate our patients. Our exam rooms also feature supreme ultra-leather dental chairs to maximize our patients comfort.
As a dedicated dental team, we are concerned about patient protection from infectious diseases. Each time a patient visits our office, a very special trust is placed into our hands. We do not take this trust lightly. That is why we are committed to providing maximum protection to you, our patient, against any kind of infectious disease. Many hours have gone into the design of our infection-control system. We are constantly evaluating and updating our procedures.
Dr. Glen and Dustin Kreitzberg and their entire team follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). These measures include:
- Disinfectant hand soap and Instant Hand Sanitizer - Gloves and face masks - Hospital-grade chemical disinfection of counter tops and room surfaces - Sterilization of all equipment before every use - Disposable materials
Between each patient, the treatment rooms are thoroughly wiped with a surface disinfectant. The instruments are put through a system of ultrasonic scrubbing (the same system a jeweler might use to clean fine jewelry) and then sterilized with a large, pressurized steam oven called an autoclave.
