Dr. Kray has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over 20 years! She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkeley and her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Medical College of Virginia. After graduating, she completed a specialized post-graduate residency in orthodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University. She was also President of the Orthodontic Education & Research Foundation at the Medical College of Virginia in 2009.
An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Kray is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (a distinction held by less than 25% of practicing orthodontists) and an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the:

Dr. Julia Giardina was born and raised in Cape Coral, Florida and attended the University of Florida where she received a degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and graduated at the top of her dental school class. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society and received recognition from the AES for advanced training in Occlusion, TMD, and Comprehensive Care. She was selected nationally to act as the Capitol Regional Representative to the National Student Dental Research Group. Additionally, Dr. Giardina was recognized for her excellence in research as an A.D Williams Student Research Fellow and Alexander Graduate Research Fellow. Dr. Giardina received her Orthodontics Speciality Certificate and Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. During her residency, Dr. Giardina conducted original research focused on screening tools for evaluating pediatric obstructive sleep apnea in orthodontic patients.
Dr. Giardina has maintained an active role in organized dentistry since she started her dental education in 2015. She is Board-Eligible for the Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has committed herself to active leadership roles at the national and chapter level in dental and orthodontic organizations, including:

Dr. Giardina enjoys spending quality time with husband Nick through trying out new restaurants, attending sporting events, and hiking. She also enjoys dancing, karaoke, personal fitness, painting watercolors, and working on graphic designs.

Great experience! I've been taking both of my kids for about 3 years, either for consult or treatment, and feel like the staff are friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The orthodontists don't rush the process of getting kids into braces and are incredibly thoughtful about the treatment approach. The kids also love seeing the dogs :)

Most excellent. I am travelling/on the road. I neglected to pack extra rubber bands for my nighttime oral appliance. Heather helped fit me with new and refused payment. Further, I could feel the warm vibe between the patients in the waiting area and staff. Luv the mascot pooch.

This practice is awesome! We always are taken straight back, no waiting. They have a fun, upbeat vibe that makes my 9yo daughter very comfortable so she never worries about going to the orthodontist. Costs are very reasonable and explained up front, no surprises. Very happy that we found this place!

I am a dental hygienist and beyond impressed with Dr. Kray & Giardina Orthodontics. We recently met with the Treatment Coordinator, Brittany, and also talked with Dr. Giardina and they helped put my son at ease as he prepares for braces. My daughter completed her orthodontic treatment with this office, and she is enjoying her healthy and beautiful smile. The care and compassion, management, cleanliness, and fun in this office is truly exceptional.

Everyone here is very nice and accommodating. Our son has a lot of anxiety and they take their time to explain what they are doing and are very patient with him. The office is clean and has a very inviting atmosphere.

I love this place so much I came when my sister had to see if she had to get braces in 2017 and we have been with them since they treat us so well and know what they are doing also the dogs are the best part about coming there they are really friendly and super nice.
