Dr. Neal D. Kravitz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as a clinical faculty member and research adviser at the University of Maryland and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Kravitz is an dual Ivy-Leagued trained orthodontist who received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University (where he was Academic All-Ivy while playing for the Columbia Lions Football team), and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (where he graduated as Valedictorian).
A prolific writer, Dr. Kravitz continues to publish his orthodontic technique and his remarkable cases in book chapters, educational guides, and numerous professional dental and orthodontic journals, including the AJO-DO, JCO, WJO, JADA, Angle Orthodontist, the Ontario Dentist Journal, and Orthodontic Products. Dr. Monica Dinh was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and as a teenager at Annandale High School, the removal of her braces made her recognize the value of orthodontics. Braces not only improves the alignment of teeth, but also enhances facial appearance and self-confidence. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, earned her doctorate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and specialized in orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University. During her residency, she focused on the psychological impact through her thesis on orthodontic patients oral health quality of life and received her Master of Science degree.
Dr. Dinh enjoys serving her community, volunteering her time with the Virginia Mission of Mercy Project and Give Kids a Smile. She is a current member of the American Associate of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Virginia Association of Orthodontics as well as the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Similar to her own positive experience with braces, Dr. Dinhs goal is to make her patients treatment fun and comfortable. Outside of the office, she enjoys spin class, playing her dan tranh (a Vietnamese 16 stringed instrument), spending time with friends and family, and is an oyster enthusiast.
Dr. Helena Kilic lived in Montreal prior to pursuing her studies in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Massachusetts, where she graduated with a bachelor of science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then pursued her doctorate degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Kilic practiced general dentistry, prior to specializing in orthodontics at Seton Hill Center for Orthodontics, where she received her Master of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees.
Dr. Kilic is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Virginia Association of Orthodontics, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Kilic is passionate about helping patients restore their confidence and self-esteem through giving them a new, beautiful and healthy smile. Getting to know the patients and their families is one of her favorite aspects about the profession.
When not working on her patients smiles, Dr. Kilic likes to explore all of the museums in Washington, DC and try out new restaurants in town. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Jessica Thai is a native of Fairfax and was inspired by her orthodontist when she had braces as a teenager. As an orthodontist, she loves watching her patients grow and gain confidence, just like she did.
Dr. Thai completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology. She then moved to Richmond, Virginia to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After dental school, she continued her education by pursuing her Master of Science in Dentistry at Saint Louis University, specializing in orthodontics. During her residency, Dr. Thai had the unique opportunity to complete a fellowship with Washington Universitys Craniofacial Cleft Lip and Palate team at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Thai enjoys serving her community, volunteering her time with Mission of Mercy Projects and Give Kids a Smile to provide free dental care to underserved areas.Throughout her residency, she was actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club Dental Clinic, where she organized and provided no-cost dental care to the local pediatric population.
Dr. Thai is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Virginia Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation.
Dr. Thai is thrilled to be back in her hometown. When she isnt in her white coat creating beautiful, confident smiles, she loves to spend time with family and friends, enjoying all that Virginia has to offer.

Dr. K and the entire staff at Kravitz Orthodontics are the real MVPs. Professional, polite and down to earth. This is a late review. I went in for a consultation for adult braces back in August of 2020 and decided to get them installed on the same day (took about 2 hours). I got them removed in June 2021. I am SO happy with my teeth! I highly recommend Kravitz Orthodontics. It is evident that Dr. K genuinely cares about his patients and he is simply the best! Thanks again Dr. K!

An amazing practice! They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, which I really needed while completing my invisalign throughout grad school. Everyone is also very friendly and utilizes patient friendly language when explaining procedures. They always provide time for any questions, concerns, and they cover key points you might overlook to ask about prior to leaving. The attention to detail and ethics maintained are unmatched by any other. I recommend Dr. Kravitz to anyone considering braces or invisalign!

Dr Kravitz was so welcoming and complimentary to my needs as a first time patient. It was my first time in the office today as I recently left my old orthodontist - everyone was so welcoming and friendly and they were able to give me a new retainer mold set for free. I was more than pleased because my other ortho place would have charged me. Kravitz Orthodontics have gained a new customer :). All my friends recommend this place and I do as well!!!

I had braces years ago but my retainer was broken and my teeth were shifting. I went in to get a retainer replacement, the staff was very nice and Dr. Kravitz complimented my previous orthodontist and gave me a replacement free of charge!

Doctor Kravitz is hands down the most compassionate, ethical and professional ortho I've ever met. Not only is he rated as one of the best in his field, his willingness to work with his clients, acquiese any concerns and provide sound advice is second to none. My friend referred me to him and I sent him an email in the evening not expecting a response for a few days; not only did he respond to me immediately, he got on the phone with me that same night for us to talk through my concerns regarding my daughters teeth. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kravitz and his team.

Wow! Unbelievable service and value. Dr. Kravitz is more than fair. He advised me to wait on braces for my three elementary age kids (no near term profit for him) at a no cost consult yesterday. For me, he advised me to keep up with the Invisalign I had started at another orthodontist and helped me speed up the movement of my bottom teeth by adding braces... at NO COST! What? Who does that? I walked out of his clinic yesterday with new braces and a clear path for my kids' orthodontia at no cost. Of course we will pay eventually for our kids' orthodontia and any future work I do for my teeth, though I'm happy to do so as he does not seem to overprescribe and the work he and his team does is excellent. So far, my experience has been phenomenal.

It has been a long time since I experienced the kindness, genuine, sincerity and just humanity that I experienced at Kravitiz Orthodontics. I almost forgot people could be that kind. I'm a public servant who often has to serve overseas, but I had to abruptly leave when my one year old needed medical treatment that he could only get in the U.S. I had braces on. I called multiple places and none would even see me for a consultation. But when I called this office, they were kind, understanding, brought me in, examined my case and helped me. The office was clean, the assistants were friendly, and Dr. Kravitiz was hilarious. It was really an experience that exceeded my expectations and left me in shock. I just remembered how nice people could be after a very challenging time. If you need dental treatment. This is the place to go.

I've been seeing Dr.Kravitz for a year now. I honestly cannot speak enough about how great the service is. If I didn't see him myself I would think it's not true. He is always so positive and has such a nice demeanor as does his staff. The whole process is so well streamlined but you don't ever feel like a number, you truly are a member of the family. Everyone is so thoughtful! He even had cupcakes sent for my daughters first birthday because he overheard me talking about it. He even texted me after my braces were removed to make sure I was completely happy with the results. He made me an extra retainer free of charge. Like who does that these days??? I am beyond happy with the results but more importantly with the service.

I saw Dr. Kravitz to get a second opinion about some problems I had with my orthodontics that had been applied by another provider. Dr. Kravitz was absolutely wonderful- kind, caring, professional and very knowledgeable about his work.I felt like a close member of his family as he pointed out some simple corrections that we could make to get the results I had always been hoping for but never expected to see. I wish I had gone to see Dr.. kravitz from the beginning but am very happy to be his patient now.He has my HIGHEST recommendation-and I can't wait to see the final results of my smile. I cannot speak for the full experience at Kravitz Orthodontics because my initial and only appointment lasted 15 minutes. Why? Because after getting my x-rays, Dr. Kravitz told me I did not need orthodontic treatment, after I've been falsely told by dentists for many years that I did need it. He took the time to explain that there was nothing wrong with my smile, that I just needed my wisdom teeth removed, and that orthodontic treatment could actually make my smile worse. This interaction is what makes me give him five stars- normally, other profit-driven orthodontic offices would have been quick to just go ahead and give me the treatment without even considering the possibility that I wouldn't need it. Especially in the middle of a pandemic, when all businesses are suffering. But Dr. Kravitz was very ethical and honest, and that is very hard to find. I did not have to pay a single penny, and I was even given a Starbucks gift card. Five stars is an understatement. I am beyond grateful I went to Dr. Kravitz instead of anyone else, because I most likely would have had to pay thousands for something I didn't even need. I will recommend this place to EVERYONE I know who is in need of orthodontic treatment. Thank you Dr. Kravitz!
