Dr. Alan Krause graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University, with a B.S. in General Biology in 1978. Having attended and graduated from UMDNJ - New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers Dental School) in 1983, he continued to serve as an Assistant Professor in the Restorative Dentistry & Fixed Prosthetics Department. It is with this type of dedication and commitment to education that Dr. Krause continually takes pride in increasing his patients' Dental I.Q. and awareness while guiding them through the entire preventive and/or restorative process. Dr. Krause has been providing exceptional dental care to Montville, NJ and its surrounding communities for more than 30 years.

Dr. Evan Krause also graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2008. He graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2013, where he served as President and Vice President of the student government in addition to graduating as one of the top 10 students in his class. Outside of the classroom and clinic, he also engaged in a vast multitude of extracurricular activities including community service, mission trips, and student mentorship. Dr. Evan also completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital affiliated James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. During his residency, he gained additional training in implant placement, significantly complex cases, and a wide array of advanced dental and surgical techniques. Using the comprehensive approach he learned from his education at Columbia, Dr. Evan works with a strong emphasis on treating the patient as a whole rather than just their teeth. He has also been invited back to the dental clinic at James J. Peters VA Medical Center to lecture about the various applications of digital dentistry that our office uses on a daily basis. Dr. Evan spent 5 years serving as a part-time clinical faculty member at Columbia University, teaching senior dental students CAD/CAM and restorative dentistry. He has also been awarded Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Distinctions. Doctor Krause did an amazing job of replacing my front crowns. I chipped these teeth as a young boy, so all Ive ever known is chipped teeth or mediocre looking crowns. This is the best my smile has ever looked. They look natural and lifelike, and the color match and alignment is superb. Im delighted! Thank you Dr. Krause!
The level of care is beyond measures. My mother is a patient and the treatment at this facility is remarkable. The staff is quick to help and the Dr. is patient and clear with all answers. The office is impecable.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my first visit and they were great about answering my questions and explaining their recommendations to me. I didn't feel rushed, either for this checkup & cleaning visit, or to make a decision about scheduling a recommended & convenient (but expensive, since I have no dental insurance) treatment.

To say Dr. Krause and his team go above and beyond is an understatement - I came to them in extreme pain and they stopped at nothing to get me taken care of! I'm happy to say the next morning I woke up with no pain at all. I'm so glad I found them. Don't go anywhere else - this is the place!

KCDC represents an absolute best in state of the art dentistry along with the personal charisma and charm of their staff. I would not entrust my oral hygiene and dental care anywhere else! One thing I would like to add as an amateur ichtyologist is that their salt water aquarium alone is worth the visit, in addition to receiving the ultimate in dental care!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I'm extremely dental phobic and have been avoiding dental visits for years. I showed up at Dr. Krause's office with horrible pain in my jaw and the entire staff was so kind and sensitive. Dr. Krause was so funny and reassuring. I burst into tears when he told me I needed a root canal (and right before I was due to travel!). Dr. Krause and his staff comforted me and made sure I got the procedure done before my trip! Dr. Krause even checked on me after I had the root canal done at a different office. For the first time I can see myself regularly going for dental cleanings. I would highly recommend

Excellent visits . Saw Dr Alan in the morning for toothache. He gave me an excellent exam and solved the problem. Then later in the day had cleaning with Landry. Again, excellent. Thorough, but at the same time gentle and considerate.

The best dental office ever. I always receive the best care I have ever had from a dentist and I'm never scared to go because both Doctor Krauses are amazingly knowledgeable and always make sure to tell you what is happening. They stay up to date on new dental equipment and procedures and do an amazing job making sure their patients are comfortable and healthy. I cannot say enough good things about this office!

We have been coming to Krause Comprehensive for over 20 years and it's always a pleasure to see the staff at Krause Comprehensive. They have been ahead of the curve from a practice technological standpoint. I was blown away when he told me he could create a pemanent crown right in his office and complete it in one sitting. I highly recommend Krause Comprehensive when it comes to keeping your teeth healthy and looking great and I have never had a filling come out. Keep up the great work!
