Dr. Ryan Kraska grew up in Greensboro, NC and attended Grimsley High School, where he was an avid soccer player. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pre-medical Biology at Appalachian State University and graduated with a DDS from Ohio State University. Dr. Ryan Kraska has been practicing in Greensboro, NC since 2005. He continues to pursue training and dental education especially in the area of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Kraska is married to his high school sweetheart Elisabeth Brewer. They are the proud parents of Molly, Myles, and Miller. Dr. Kraskas hobbies include fishing, hunting, relaxing and spending time with friends.
Sedation dentistry offers individuals with general anxiety about going to the dentist or fears about a specific dental procedure the opportunity to have a stress free and more comfortable experience. Utilizing safe and controlled sedation techniques prior to the dental procedure the patient is eased into a state of complete relaxation. This eliminates any discomfort, pain, and preoperative anxiety that may be associated with a particular dental visit. With sedation dentistry patients typically feel more at ease post-operatively as they have little or no memory of the actual moment-to-moment dental procedure.
Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as a mild sedative to reduce anxiety and allow a level of relaxation during a procedure. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask over the nose. It is administered for the duration of the procedure and is turned off as the procedure is coming to an end. The effects of this method of sedation wear off very quickly.

After almost 30 years as a patient at Kraska Center, I feel qualified to say they are the BEST. My teeth are always well cared for and comfortable. They are professional, knowledgeable and treat everyone with respect. I would not want to go anywhere else!

I love everything about the experience at the Kraska Center. From the cozy waiting room to the friendly welcome and most importantly the gentle and caring (but also laid back & hilarious) personality of Dr. Kraska. He pays attention to detail and truly cares for his patients. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone and everyone. It's the best in the Triad - hands down!

I just moved to Greensboro from out of state. I had a dental emergency and hadn't gotten a primary dentist yet since moving. I called Dr Kraska and his sweet, amazing staff got me in THE NEXT DAY! When other places were wanting me to wait weeks. My apt was at 11:30.. I was taken back immediately and X-rays were started. Brooke was super sweet, helpful and kept me pretty relaxed as I am terrified of the dentist. Quick and thorough! Dr Kraska came in quickly after and fixed my dental issue ASAP, and came up with a treatment plan that fits my needs and pockets!! Definitely not trying any other dentist in the area and will recommend him and his staff to everyone I know!! Dr Kraska is very nice, intelligent, and laid back! Very informative and did an amazing job!! Thanks again!!

This is a great dentist office. I enjoy going here. Dr. Kraska is super personable, knowledgable, listens to your concerns, and wants the best outcome. He knows what he's talking about and takes the time to explain everything. The staff are excellent and kind as well. Good people here. The office is also nice. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. Everyone does a good job of making it a pleasant experience.

I've been on the hunt for a good quality dentist. This place had great reviews so I took a chance. I've never thought that I would be excited for my dentist appointment! The staff is genuinely friendly and I feel welcomed every time I walk though those doors. They made my first appointment smooth and I felt confident in my visit. Shana did a great job of walking me though the recommended procedures Dr.Kraska had prescribed and even helped me prioritized them while understanding insurance/pricing. Dr.Kraska and his clinical staff are gentle but they get the job done! I even love the cozy waiting area and that each room has a personal tv with headphones if I choose to use them . The old saying is true you get what you pay for and quality over quantity is evident here ! I am so thankful I finally found such a great dental family !!!

Dr Kraska and his staff are the best for dental hygiene and cosmetic dentistry. We've been going to him for about 14 years now and even though we live in Raleigh it's well worth the trip. My 13 year old son said yesterday that he actually likes going to the dentist to see Dr. Kraska and Stephanie, who cleans are teeth. She does an incredible job of cleaning our teeth without being rough.
