Dr. Michael Kramer earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with honors from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgeons. While he attended Columbia, he was awarded the Beube Research Fellowship three years in a row and conducted research that was instrumental in identifying immune markers in gingival crevicular fluid for periodontal disease. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Appel Medal in Periodontics.
Dr. Michael Kramer then attended Harvard University were he completed a Certificate in Periodontics and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc). While attending Harvard, he was the recipient of the prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) research grant and investigated and identified the role of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in inflammation and apoptosis (programmed cell death). Dr. Michael Kramer has also completed additional certificate training in osseointegration and guided tissue regeneration in order to further his special interests in implantology and periodontal regenerative procedures.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, The American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI),and the American Academy of Osseointegration, DOCS certified in Conscious Sedation.
If you 're not seeing a specialist for specialty care, chances are your dentist 's 'training' was a weekend class.The American Dental Association does NOT recognize 'Implantology' as a specialty. 'Implant specialist' is a marketing term, not an actual specialty.
Tracey is our ' Hygienist to the Stars' just ask her patients. She graduated from the prestigious Forsyth 's School for Dental Hygienists and has been working in the periodontal aspect of dentistry her entire career. Tracey has two children, Emily 23 and Kevin 18 and resides in Dedham. She enjoys seeing musical theatre shows, warm weather and experiencing different wines at local vineyards. Tracey is committed to provide our patients in maintaining amazing oral health.
Carol is our amazing dental assistant that graduated Northeastern's Tufts Dental Assisting Program. She has been married to her high school sweet heart Mike for 38 years, and has three grown children. Carol lives in Wakefield and is looking forward to meeting her 4th grandchild in 2020. You can hear Carol happily singing when you walk in our door, she makes you feel comfortable immediately. We are so lucky to have her on our team.

The team is happy and friendly. Dr.Kramer has a very nice attitude. They need to review details needed. I had to go back to get the hooks to be cementec to my exposed adult tooth. Neither myself nor the orthodontists office were notified to bring it. Further if the periodontists need them they should have it. Asking me to go back to Brookline was too much and disorganized. Also it is better to plan ahead and say what my full out of pocket costs are. I also thought the hook to be cemented was dropped and they used next lower size in the packet. No issues. Recently the ortho had to replace it. The surgery itself was good. They managed it well. My feedback is for positive betterment and not negative criticism. Thanks

My visit was the usual combination of professional and personable service. Though I can't say I look forward to my periodontal appointments, Dr. Kramer and Carol, the Dental Assistant, did a great job to put me at my ease.

Grateful for Dr. Kramer's skill, attention and conversation ... even when he leaves me in stitches. Removal of the exposed and infected root of a broken lower tooth (28) was a great relief, but the multiple injections of an anaesthetic around my mandibular nerve was unnerving. One germ-hole less in my skull. Skillfully and rapidly done!
