Dr. Schrott is a prosthodontist with a special interest in comprehensive, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Her training allows her to treat a wide variety of patient needs, ranging from simple fillings to dental implant therapy, aesthetic procedures and highly complicated full mouth reconstructions. Prosthodontics is the only dental specialty that includes training in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry.
Prosthodontics is one of the 9 American Dental Association recognized dental specializations. In order to become a prosthodontist, a dentist must complete at least 3 years of additional training after earning the initial Doctor of Dental Surgery/Medicine (DDS/DMD) degree. Less than 3% of dentists have prosthodontic specialization. This advanced training and experience makes a prosthodontist the ideal dental practitioner to perform tooth replacement because they are able to restore teeth to their natural beauty while ensuring your replacement teeth will fit and function properly, and that all materials are biologically compatible.
Dr. Sharon Schrott completed her masters degree in Prosthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Schrott spent two years in Europe where she continued her focus of cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Providing comprehensive treatment while fulfilling the highest standards of care is of great importance to her, and the time abroad has enabled Dr. Schrott to integrate the best of both the European and American philosophies.
Not many dentists can say they have successfully completed thousands of cosmetic dental cases, but Dr. Alfred L. Kraft can. He has spent more than 20 years restoring and enhancing smiles through cosmetic dentistry, and his involvement with implant dentistry dates back to 1993.
A member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Kraft enhances his skills and stays current with treatment breakthroughs through many hours of continuing dental education. He is committed to providing patients with beautiful smiles through outstanding care.
Turning to dentistry, Dr. Slate earned her DMD with honors at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she won the prestigious Nesbitt Award for clinical excellence and also received the Matthew Boylan Scholarship, awarded by the Massachusetts Dental Society in recognition of her positive impact on the profession and the community.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a hot minute. Life got in the way. I was nervous of being judged and scolded for my lapse in dental care, but the staff at Kraft & Schrott couldn't have been more pleasant. Nicole, the hygienist, was incredibly nice and cleaned my teeth free of judgement. When the dentist came in he was similarly friendly and even complimented my teeth. I am relieved to have found such a caring practice. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming here for several years. An excellent practice with excellent professionals at every spot (front office, hygienists and dentists). No one LOVES going to the dentist, but I enjoy coming here more than I've enjoyed my previous dentists.

I have been Dr. Kraft's patient for years. I would not want to go anywhere else. The front desk staff. the dental hygienists and dental assistants I have had have been EXCELLENT. The one I have now is SUPER EXCELLENT - compassionate and so professional. I always feel WELCOME and that is so important. I highly recommend Kraft & Schrott Dental Associates. Best Dental Experience I've ever had! WOW! finally I have found a Dentist that truly cares about my dental health. Came in for a filling (my tooth had been chipped for a couple of months) however due to my fear of the dentist I had been putting it off. I Did my research and came across this hidden GEM. The whole process from booking my appointment to being in the dental chair was FLAWLESS. Dr. Schrott and her staff are amazing, friendly people who make you feel comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend this office!

The dental work is satisfactory. The billing is untrustworthy. I was given a total of $560 by the front desk when I asked what my potential maximum out of pocket expense could be before agreeing to schedule a procedure. On the day of the procedure, I was charged $1068 and then later received an additional bill for $1047 for the same procedure.

It is a kind, upbeat office and they do everything they can in an emergency to get me in. Their knowledge and technology is constantly updated; I trust them completely.

"An accelerated & optimal visit" I would overbook Michelle if I'm the office manager as she was as-fast a cleaning as I've ever had, with the same great results. My math thinks it'll net them 2 more cleanings a day, and would help with the lost revenue during COVID. Speaking of which, tell the office manager to reconsider the mask requirement as wearing them from the front door to the hygienist's chair is a little silly.

Dr. Maria Avrampou and her assistant Jackie are the absolute best to see! I recently switched to this practice and it's the best decision I made for my dental health. They are so sweet and so comforting to anybody who may have nerves going to the dentist. Overall, a 10/10 experience!
