Dr. Donald Kowalski graduated from Danvers High School, Boston University and Georgetown University Dental School and has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years! He strongly believes in staying current and attending continuing education classes every year. He is certified in diode lasers and is a Certified Cerec Doctor.
The office continually changes as he implements the newest materials in dentistry and practices the most modern techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Shore District Dental Society.
Dr. Dawna Kowalski graduated from Danvers High School, Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she completed a one year general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She takes many continuing education classes each year to learn the most modern techniques and philosophies. Dr. Dawna enjoys all aspects of dentistry: surgical implant dentistry, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, pediatric cases, dentures, simple restorations and crowns and bridges. With the aid of our cone beam aided surgical guides, she is one of the few general dentists in the North Shore to place implants.
Dr. Dawna is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Shore District Dental Society. She is the North Shore District continuing education representative for the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Dawna is the Beverly Public Schools dentist and a member of a Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.
Dr. Carolyn Dietrich graduated from Colby College in 2000 with a B.A. in Biology. She obtained her D.M.D. from Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2006. After dental school, she attended Boston Universitys advanced education in general dentistry program where she received a C.A.G.S. degree.
Dr. Sylvia Zannis joined Kowalski Dental in 2016. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at Michigan State University, and earned her D.D.S degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2015. She served as Social Chair of her dental school class and an executive board member of the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. She was recognized with the Making A Difference Award for outstanding achievement in patient care. She pursued additional education at Boston University, in a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry earning a CAGS certificate.
Dr. Zannis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the North Shore District Dental Society and a member of the Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.
She was born and raised in Northville Michigan with her big loving Greek family. When she isnt practicing dentistry she enjoys exploring the coastal New England towns, skiing, college football Saturdays and playing with her Golden Doodle puppy, Ruby.

Dr. Dawna served on the Continuing Education Board for the Massachusetts Dental Society for many years. She is an active member of a Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.
