Dr. Donald Kowalski graduated from Danvers High School, Boston University and Georgetown University Dental School and has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years! He strongly believes in staying current and attending continuing education classes every year. He is certified in diode lasers and is a Certified Cerec Doctor.
The office continually changes as he implements the newest materials in dentistry and practices the most modern techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Shore District Dental Society.
Dr. Dawna Kowalski graduated from Danvers High School, Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she completed a one year general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She takes many continuing education classes each year to learn the most modern techniques and philosophies. Dr. Dawna enjoys all aspects of dentistry: surgical implant dentistry, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, pediatric cases, dentures, simple restorations and crowns and bridges. With the aid of our cone beam aided surgical guides, she is one of the few general dentists in the North Shore to place implants.
Dr. Dawna is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Shore District Dental Society. She is the North Shore District continuing education representative for the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Dawna is the Beverly Public Schools dentist and a member of a Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.
Dr. Carolyn Dietrich graduated from Colby College in 2000 with a B.A. in Biology. She obtained her D.M.D. from Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2006. After dental school, she attended Boston Universitys advanced education in general dentistry program where she received a C.A.G.S. degree.
Dr. Sylvia Zannis joined Kowalski Dental in 2016. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at Michigan State University, and earned her D.D.S degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2015. She served as Social Chair of her dental school class and an executive board member of the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. She was recognized with the Making A Difference Award for outstanding achievement in patient care. She pursued additional education at Boston University, in a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry earning a CAGS certificate.
Dr. Zannis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the North Shore District Dental Society and a member of the Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.
She was born and raised in Northville Michigan with her big loving Greek family. When she isnt practicing dentistry she enjoys exploring the coastal New England towns, skiing, college football Saturdays and playing with her Golden Doodle puppy, Ruby.

Dr. Dawna served on the Continuing Education Board for the Massachusetts Dental Society for many years. She is an active member of a Spear Study Club for continuing education in dentistry.

Absolutely horrible dental office. Dr Dietrich lied multiple times on my patient records for liability reasons and they refuse to be held accountable for these claims as well as provide updated records. She was also very unprofessional during the dental exam and very unhelpful. The manager (carol I believe) took the phone call after waiting 10 minutes to see if the call would drop from the receptionist and basically said it's a legal document and cannot be changed. If they are legal documents, they should be correct. Mentioned nothing about having them amended or that that is even a possibility, which is also A HIPAA violation. This office puts liability in front of patient satisfaction be wary.

I broke a tooth and was able to get an appt on a Saturday and had a new crown in less than an hour and a half! Their chair has a massage element to it so I was very relaxed. Thank you Dr. Dana Kowalski.

A very kind and truly gifted office and dentist. Had to find a dentist to help with my 95 year old aunt who was very upset when one of her front teeth fell off denture. I turned to my dentist that I can't complain to anymore. I live in NC most of the year. Front desk folks fit us in. And the great dentist dr Kowalski fitted a new tooth to the dentures. A kind office and a kind dentist and better yet he is a very very good dentist.

I was a new patient after being with my previous dentist for 35 years. Had to find a new one due to my moving. The office staff is very helpful and pleasant. My hygienist was also great. Dr. Kowalski was great! I'm glad I chose them!

I had broken a crown on Monday, and was in dire need for a repair. Having moved recently to the Bradford, MA area, I had not found a dentist, much less someone to do a new crown. ASAP. I had driven by the office many times and always admired the office and the well keep property and the beautiful flowers. I made a call to the after-hours reservation desk. That woman, was kind, understanding and very helpful. Made an immediate appt. for today at 8:30am. I arrived and the Patient Coordinator was helpful and kind completing my paperwork, and introduced me to Dr. Kowalski, a gentle, soft spoken, well schooled and very experienced gentleman Dentist. I felt very special and fortunate that I started at the top, and in the hands of a true professional. I was in and out in 90 min, with my new crown, (even better than the original), and an amazing dental experience, As I am up in the years, I never thought I would find a great dentist with a gentle touch, supported by an amazing team, everyone I came in touch with restored my faith and brightened my smile.

By far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've EVER had!! Dr. Kowalski was rude, disrespectful and aggressive throughout the whole appointment. I felt violated the entire time as I was crying in the chair. Do yourself a favor and never go to this dental office. Disgusted and disturbed is an understatement.

I was always afraid of the dentist but Thank God I found Dr. Kowalski! If I need work done he always tells me everything and I am totally at ease with his Professional Kind Manner! My cleanings are done fast and easy. Thank You All!

Have been a patient of Kowalski for about a year. From the first cleaning they told me everything I needed to know, went back for a few fillings really professional people. I have never had to wait in the waiting room to be seen, they always take me right in and get right to work. Highly recommend to anyone needing or wanting a new dentist.

When my dentist retired, I didn't find a new one for many years. Of course once I did go back, there several issues to address. I had visited a couple other dentists before finding Kowalski. Those other offices focused on my mistakes and made me not want to return to them. Kowalski was more understanding. We made a plan. I got the work done. I'm back to regularly scheduled visits, and I don't dread them like I used to

Very efficient. Friendly and dental equipment seems to have more current technology then my previous dentist's office. Only have had a cleaning done. So far it has been a pleasant experience.

I'm not too happy going to the dentist but I loved what I did yesterday with lauren she was very gentle and very nice to talk to and I won't be nervous going the next time I love that Dentist Office and everything about it I would recommend it to anybody because my nephew and niece recommended it to me and I was very glad
