Dr. Andrew Kouvaris is a native of San Jose where he attended Lynbrook High School and Santa Clara University. He studied at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and was named his class Valedictorian. He next entered the graduate program to study orthodontics, and received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a certificate of specialization in orthodontics. Dr. Kouvaris is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In addition to his practice, Dr. Kouvaris maintains a position as associate clinical professor of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society. Dr. Kouvaris is committed to the most advanced treatment techniques and concepts and is highly active in continuing education courses to bring the best that orthodontic treatment can offer to his patients. Dr. Kouvaris enjoys all sports and especially has a passion for baseball. In his free time, he likes traveling with his wife, Erin, and their children, and spending time with family and friends.
Jen is our most long-term employee and takes care of a multitude of tasks for our office. Integrity, attention to detail, empathy, and a bubbly personality make Jen an invaluable member of Kouvaris Orthodontics. Jen resides in San Jose with her fianc and twin teenage boys, to whom she devotes most of her free time.
Maria is married and has two adult children who are college graduate working professionals. She has been in the dental field for more than 20 years, mostly in orthodontics. She enjoys working with patients and takes pride in her work at our office. When she is not assisting, she works as a dental assisting instructor at a local school. In her free time she enjoys being with family and working on her hobbies, gardening and flower arranging.
Erica has 15 years orthodontic experience, and is both a proficient clinician and laboratory technician. Her longevity in the orthodontic profession is a testament to her commitment to a profession that transforms lives for the better. She is dedicated to evolving with the technology of orthodontics through continuing education, providing our patients with the best treatment available. Erica resides in San Jose with her husband and two daughters.
Susana has been registered dental assistant for 11 years. She's a proud mom of two boys and a girl. Susana loves orthodontics because it can make a difference in a patients self-confidence and self-esteem to have a beautiful smile. She loves to see her patients smile every time they come in.

Just an overall wonderful experience. My 14yo daughters teeth look amazing. The experience of dealing with Kouvaris Orthodontics was equally amazing. I felt comfortable dealing with them the entire time. The work was done at the quoted price and completed within the estimated time. If I had another child who needed braces I'd definitely go back.

Dr. Kouvaris' office is a welcoming place filled with joy and incredible people. I received braces from Dr. Kouvaris and I have been blessed with beautiful teeth! I will always be super grateful to Dr. Kouvaris and his team for being so precise with my teeth and never letting me down!

Dr. Kouvaris and his staff are so wonderful! Very nice and welcoming staff who make you feel special. I am 33 years old and never had braces growing up. I chose to have Invisalign done with a very complex cross bite and a ton of crowding! Dr. Kouvaris was just excellent. He thought of different ways to treat me, was creative and patient. I highly recommend him for any orthodontic work especially if you are interested in Invisalign. Before I had my consultation with him, I saw a different orthodontist who had told me that I wasn't an Invisalign candidate. Well, obviously that's not the case. I told Dr. Kouvaris this and he stated that, it's not that I wasn't a "candidate," it was that the other orthodontist wasn't comfortable treating me with Invisalign. Dr. K said adult cross bites are very difficult to treat but it can be done with Invisalign. I'm SO happy with my results! I was also very vigilant and wore them like I was suppose to. Go see Dr. Kouvaris, adults or kids! He is excellent! So happy I found him!

The receptionist was friendly. The staff who took impression for me was lack of training.The first time she pinched my mouth inside with the plastic piece the whole time and ignored my complain. Dr. Kouvaris basically didn't handle many things himself in his clinic. Most of things were done by his staff. Sometimes during the visit he didn't even come to the patient to check the work his staff did. The second time when the staff took impression, I asked her how many invisalign I was going to get this time. Instead of answering my question, she asked me back "Didn't Dr.Kouvaris tell you? He supposed to tell you!" The last time when I was there, because I had to take some vitamins that smelled weird at that time, I cleaned myself as much as I could before went there. Dr. Kouvaris came over and frowned at me, leaned backward immediately and put on his mask. At that visit he only had a short talk (about 30 seconds) to me, and didn't work in my mouth. The price he charged for my invisalign was about $7000. For this much money I could find a clinic that would treat me much better. I was stuck with them for more than two years and I am so done with it. Just F.Y.I. His invisalign is not made in USA. I didn't really question about this. But at least treat your patients with respect.

The best Ortho in southbay. I was very nervous and anxious about getting my braces, but since the first visit I had with Dr. Kouvaris I knew that will be there where I wanted to do my braces, the doctor & his staff have been outstanding, I always felt that they offer me their best professional opinion in regards of treatment, they always took time to explain me everything and also very flexible with scheduling the appointments, also one time one of the bands got off and they were very good letting me go back to the clinic to replace it, I really love the way they treat me, I really recommend Kouvaris Orthodontics, I spent a few months looking for a reasonable ortho that has a good rate in prices, and I choose the best one in San Jose, also the good thing that they have other locations like in Cupertino, the staff is always friendly and responsive, on all levels- quality of work, quality of service, and professionalism, Jenifer was very good responding to any question I had via email and by phone, I also like Erika, but in general I love all the staff, it feels like to visit an extra family, I felt very sad when my treatment of the braces came to the end, I was feeling very good every time I had my appointments. If you are looking for a good place to do your braces, this is the place either if you are a young kid, or an older person like me, thank you Dr. Kourvaris & his staff, I really will miss everyone in Kouvaris Orthodontics.

Dr. Kouvaris has treated me as well as my two teen daughters for orthodontics and I have been very pleased with his practice! From the lovely Jen at the front desk to all of his very friendly staff in the back. Dr. Kouvaris is very professional and we've had a wonderful experience with him as well as excellent results with treatment! My oldest daughter completed her treatment recently and she cannot stop smiling, she loves her new smile!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Kourvaris for over a year now. She just recently had her braces taken off and her smile/teeth look amazing. The entire staff has been very patient and understanding with my daughter, she's not always the easiest patient when it comes to going to the dentist, Ortho or doctors. I highly recommend Kourvaris Orthodontics.
