The reputable dental office of Dr. Grant S. Korsmo in Grand Forks, ND offers a wide range of dental procedures, from tooth extractions to root canals. We are trusted by families in the community because of the quality treatments we provide. Place your dental needs under our care and expect to receive excellent, personalized services from a reliable dentist.

I was born in Northwood, ND, and grew up on the family farm. After graduating from Northwood High School, I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, where I majored in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I continued my education and attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI.

It was at MUSoD that I met my wife, Kathryn. She grew up on Kodiak Island, AK, where our family enjoys spending vacations. We are fortunate to be able to appreciate the different beauties of the Midwest and Alaska! We have two daughters, Elsie and Amelia, who keep us busy with all the joys of raising kids.

I moved to Grand Forks in 2007 after my dental school graduation. I helped start the dental clinic of the community health center in town (previously known as Valley Community Health Centers, now Spectra Health). I enjoyed working as the dental director for almost eight years before purchasing Dr. Labines practice in January 2015.

I have always been very active in organized dentistry. I was president and vice president of the professional fraternity while at dental school. I am an active member of the Northeast District Dental Association, North Dakota Dental Association, American Dental Association, and International College of Dentists. I currently serve on the Board of Health for Grand Forks County. I have been a trustee and a delegate for the NDDA. I participate in Mission of Mercy, an annual event where free dental care is given to those in need. I enjoy attending various continuing education courses each year and implementing the knowledge I learn into my practice.

I am proud to work with a great team at Korsmo Family Dentistry that is enjoyable to work with and skillful. I appreciate and value every patient that walks through my door, entrusting the Korsmo Family Dental team with their dental care.

Needed a new dentist since moving and couldn't be happier with my choice! Great amazing staff and Dr. Korsmo was excellent! Appointment was for me and my 2 year old and had to bring my 9 month old too. They were so great and accommodating for my 2 littles while I did my x-rays then cleaning. Thorough x-rays and exam! I loved my previous dentist so I'm thrilled to find another dentist I love! They were great with my 2 year old during her cleaning/exam. Loved how he thoroughly answered any questions too! Highly recommend!!

I'm shocked there aren't more reviews. Jessica, my hygienist, was super. Polite, friendly, and professional. It's wonderful to have everything explained as she goes along, so I understand what's going on with my teeth. Dr. Korsmo was great too, which is important because he's the one with the drill. But, let's be real the hygienist makes the visit, and I feel like all of the staff members I encountered were very nice. From walking in the door to walking out, 10/10. Also, the chairs have a massage feature! Whoa. Dental spa!
