Dr. Anna Kopit graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery Dental School, University of Maryland. She attended a residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Kopit provides quality Family and Cosmetic dentistry with great warmth and care. Dr. Michael Pesin received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland at College Park. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland in 2004. After dental school, he completed his dental residency with the Veteran Affairs hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Pesin is very passionate about dentistry and providing the best care for his patients. To this day, there are a few dozen patients that come to see Dr. Pesin from La Plata, Southern Maryland, where he spent the first 7 years of his career.
Dr. Diego Maldonado is a caring, confident practitioner, with a goal of providing comfortable patient care. He grew up in Miami, Florida with a passion for athletics, playing football and lacrosse in high school. Following graduation with an IB diploma from Coral Reef High School, he went on to study biology at the University of Florida.
Dr. Maldonado received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He completed an oral surgery clerkship with advanced training in complex extractions and was a member of the Prosthodontic Honor Society. In his third year, he was given the unique opportunity to provide treatment to underserved communities in Honduras on a dental mission trip. Dr. Maldonado was awarded The Maryland Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for excellence in surgical aspects of dental implants.
Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Maldonado completed an additional year of training at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Completion of this optional residency program allowed continued development as a competent practitioner and widened his scope of practice. Dr. Maldonado strongly values continuing education and is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He is also fluent in Spanish and French, allowing him to communicate effectively with patients of various cultures. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, sports, exploring the outdoors and traveling. Dr. Maldonado is excited to meet the needs of his patients at Kopit Dental Care.

I know it's hard to imagine a trip to the dentist being a "great experience," but my recent dental cleaning was just that. The hygienist was professional, caring, and most courteous, and did an excellent job...giving me helpful tips along the way. The front-desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they get the insurance stuff right. And Dr. Pesin has taken great care of my wife and I for the past several years...from routine check-ups, to dental implants. This is the place to go for dental care.

This practice is warm, comforting and very knowledgeable. I had my consult at Dr. Kopit's office and from the beginning felt welcomed and the staff are very courteous and professional. Dr. Kopit is very caring, extremely intelligent and very easy to talk to.

Dr. Kopit is professional and wonderful and so are her dental hygienists and front desk staff. I came in for a cleaning yesterday 10/1 with a minor chipped tooth. Cleaning completed in 1 hour to include x-rays and evaluation. Dr. Kopit and hygienist provided in-depth education behind each procedure, which is probably the competitive advantage most practices are missing in my experience. My questions were answered in a concise manner and I was not pressured into any extra procedures. I scheduled my tooth repair for the following morning. 10/2 tooth repaired in 30 minutes with all questions answered and job done to my satisfaction. This is how a practice should be run; I will be returning.

This is the worst place for dentist, my insurance cover 100% basic cleaning, but kopit dental care charge me . This is not honest place.

Without question , the nicest dentist office i have ever been too. Everyone was very friendly , from the nice lady at check in , to the nurses and dentist himself. Super friendly , and complete professionals. They took care of me and i will be back . Thanks again !

Caring, thorough, and well trained. I really like going to this place and I actually hate the dentist. They're super helpful and explain everything, and they're always able to get you in on the schedule pretty quickly. Dr. Kopit and staff are all great.

Dr. Nolet is the best! If you're within a half hour drive there's no better place to go! Always welcoming, accommodating, and willing to do whatever it takes to make you comfortable even in the most uncomfortable of situations!

I had moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I heard from a friend about Dr.Nolet. I was impressed with her team and her caring gentle care. I am very much anxious about dentists from previous bad experiences. I am SO thankful to find Dr. Nolet. Her hygienist,Michelle, was amazing. I scheduled my next appointment with this same team before I left the office. You will not be disappointed!

All the staff are very friendly and the new office is beautiful! I'm thinking that they saved lots of money on services they've charged their customers! I've solicited feedback from my community on their experiences with Kopit and found out that many have left because the doctor said they needed various dental work done. After getting a second opinion found out that they didn't need all or most of what was suggested (fillings, etc.) and years later still didn't need anything done. I don't trust them and I hope that our daughter didn't get three cavities filled over the last 3 years for nothing!
