A Passion for Orthodontics I feel so lucky to be an Orthodontist! It is a fantastic profession. I absolutely love my jobI love talking to people; I love working with my hands and using modern science and technology to improve the lives of individuals. I love laughing with my patients. They share stories of their lives and adventures with me, and allow me to become part of their lifes story. I treasure the moments when a patient chooses to tell me what they are learning in school, the accomplishments of their families, or where they have been traveling. I learn so much about the world and life from the conversations I have with my patients, and truly appreciate each insight.
Dr. Marvin Baptiste graduated from Columbia University in 2008. During his time at Columbia, he served as the 2008 President of the Student National Dental Association and was highlighted in Ebony Magazines 30 Young Leaders Under 30. Highlights of his term included the presentation of Improving Dental Access in Underserved Communities Act of 2008 to congress and elevating the SNDAs Oral Cancer Walk to the organizations national programmatic agenda. Following graduation, Dr. Baptiste went on to pursue his passion of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Howard University. Currently, he is in private practice in New York City and is pursuing his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in finance at Hofstra University in Long Island.

As new patient for my son at Kool Smilez our experience has been nothing but professional. My encounter and walk through the process has been easy thanks to Sandra Morales. She is efficient,Kind and has been super helpful with any questions. We are very pleased and happy with the services.

I have been working with the orthodontist, Dr. Baptiste? And His awesome assistant , Kay. They are great people. Even the people at the front desk are nice. My teeth were horrible and now they are nice, white , and straight. I'm honest with my orthodontist and he's honest with me. As for other things rather than orthodontics, my family also comes here for cleanings, teeth implants and more. Best one in state! Dr. Baptiste has the perfect touch and makes sure everything is perfect before he takes off your braces. I'm sorry if that's not how you spell their names.
